Meh, im fine. I already played a mind reading nightwing before. Time for soemthing differnt. (My next step on my bucket list is to actually rp an animus. I have animus Ocs in rps, but the rp di.ed before it could get fun XD)
Le form is up. Can we start?
The Skywing with firescales landed outside the yawning enterance to Jade Mountain. Ahead of her was a tunnel full of loud, hyper dragonets would just couldn't wait to start the day and make new friends. They all looked happy. And then there was Flare, the dragonet who's life was ruined by bloodshed and violence. The war shaped her to be a warrior, not a student. But with Scarlet dead, where was she to go? Certainly not back to the new queen, "Tourmaline", was nothing but a weak and sloppy leader. Flare would never return to her old life again.
Flare crossed paths with a young Nightwing, who seemed to be just a couple or so years younger than her. " Oh, you must be Flare. No other Skywing could have those flaming scales besides a Skywing named Flare. And those earrings. So shinny. That wicked scar. Wow!"
Flare felt a warm feeling inside her. The first time someone complimented her in years. And from a Nightwing, how mysterious. " Thank you."
" Okay, here's your scroll. Your cave should be the second tunnel on the right, fifth cave down. Enjoy your stay!" The Nightwing waved her wing at her, before approaching another student.
Flare followed the Nightwing's directions while reading her scroll. She was in the Ruby Winglet, along with six other dragonets, one from every tribe. I wonder how this is going to turn out. Tension still remains between the tribes. This school can end in more bloodshed.
As she entered the cave, she noticed a Rainwing already resting in the hammock. Of course. Already resting. Rainwings. She decided to take the rock bed that was sticking out of the wall in the corner. It seemed the most comfortable and best for her; there was a water bed that was clearly for a Seawing, a sand bed that was meant for a Sandwing, another rock bed, and the rest were leaf beds which Flare would just burn and cause a fire with if she lied down on one of them. She closed her scroll and rested her head on her talons, waiting for the rest of the winglet to get here.
Wavecrest looked up from the waves she was riding. This was it. Jade mountain academy, where the dragonlets learned their ways. She had been really glad to come here, and had been looking forward to it ever since she found out she was the lucky one.
Wavecrest stretched her body as she came to the entrance, where she saw several students walking around and talking, eager to make friends. She walked through the main entrance, and was greeted by a young Nightwing, who smiled and handed her a scroll. The Nightwing looked very cheerful, causing Wavecrest to smile as she looked at her. The Nightwing said "You will just love it here. Have a nice stay!" And walked of into the sea of students who were looking at their own scrolls.
Looking at her scroll, she saw she was in the Ruby Winglet. She would share a room with six other students. "I hope they are nice," she thought, before reading the directions to the cave. It was the second tunnel on the right, fifth cave down. Following the directions, she came up to a suitable cave. A Rainwing was resting on a hammock, with a toucan perched on a branch near it. A Skywing rested on a hard rock bed at the end of the cave.
Dropping of her few things at the tub of water which was for her, Wavecrest took a small dip, and then walked over to the Rainwing for hope of engaging in a conversation. The Skywing was looking a bit vicious, and very bored. It probably wasn't a good choice.
"My name is Wavecrest. What is your name?" She asked the Rainwing.
'It'll be for your own good'
"Yeah right." Aurora snorted unter her breath just as her icy talons hit the landing deck. The place was over crowded with lesser dragons, all shapes and sizes running around boisterously. After many many years of pratice, Aurora maintained her blank emotionaless expression. She turned her glittering head twoards the Icewing escort. Both Prince Winter and Icicle were Agruing.
Aurora stiffy shifted her head away from them. Icicle was most likely to be the next queen. She was always better at fightning than Aurora and thus the fued betweent them went on. Aurora usually emotionless expression hardened into a glare as she turned and looked at their ICewing escort, Penguin. The guard visibly shrunk away from her. But, what was the use arguing with him? It was her mother she'd have to quarrel with.
Aurora huffed. as Penguin shakily began to speak.
"I_I dont you dont like it your highnesses but, I am under the orders of Qu-"
"Yeah yeah, we get it!" Icicle snapped. Even Aurora was surprised by her attitude.
"Uh... well, ceretainly. I was..." Peguin was dumbfounded. Hits silver necklace that displayed two circles shown in the sun. He coughed. "Just go."
Aurora watched as Winter hesitently began to follow the other dragons into the acve. She glanced back at Penguin with a
'We will talk about this later' Glare which made him, in turn shrink away in fear. Aurora knew it wasnt right to take ehr anger out on him, but who else could she? She rubbed her talons together and strut forward twoards the cave, holding herself with regal pride that caused many dragons to stare and whisper.
Aurora caught a few of them on the wind.
"What is her deal?"
"IS that the IceWing Princess?"
"I heard she is an animus."
"Sundance look, whats up with that Icewing?"
"I think she si the animus."
Aurora maintained her regal expression.
'Thats right, fear me. Admire me. For one day, I will be queen of the Icewings.'
((JUst FYI, Aurora isnt an actual animus, just, many dragons whom heard the rumor beleive it. Aurora lets them and Queen Glacier sint protesting either. It makes the ICewings look more powerful))
(( Quetzal: What's your favorite color?
That reminds me of something...
" Buddy the elf, what's your favorite color?" I love that movie!))
Flare saw a Nightwing come into the cave. The Rainwing of the group got exciter and started asking question. However, it ended with the dark-scaled dragon snapping at the Rainwing, making him jump near Flare.
" Careful!" She snarled with smoke puffs rising from her nose. She didn't mean to sound aggressive towards the other dragon, she was just giving him a warning because he might burn himself. " Oh, I'm Flare. Just, don't come close to me like that. You might burn yourself." She casted the Nightwing a glare.
(( Oh, I also just got Talons of Power a few days ago. It's awesome so far!))
Wavecrest was taken aback by the Rainwing's sharp responde. To avoid any further trouble, she stood for a second before darting of to her bed. She often didn't hear other conversations going on when she was doing something, so as she ran to her bed she didn't hear the Rainwing call after her.
After sinking in her pool for a bit, Wavecrest lifted her head up to see a Noghtwing had entered, and the Skywing had introduced herself as Flare. At least she heard that much. Rising the rest of her body now, Wavecrest stood up in front of her bed, and chomped some seaweed snacks she brought. She liked to ignore any bullies, and it seemed like some of her cave-mates didn't like much company.
Juice dribbled down her mouth, and she licked it up with her tongue. A stretch brought some feeling back into her scales, who liked resting a lot. Her tail was still in the water, so she brand it up and shook it all around the room. She didn't really care if anyone was staring at her like she was a strange person. She did what her mind told her, and that was do her routine of getting up every time she got up from bed, no matter what people thought.
Rattlesnake bounded toward the school, panting. Even though it was a long flight here, she was an agile dragon that had enough energy to fly to the sun, if she wanted to. Flanks heaving, she crashed into a RainWing, making both of them crash to the ground. "Omygosh I'm so sorry!" she cried, feeling her cheeks go hot.
Aurora snaked her way to a rocky cleft, it was higher up than all the other beds, she spread her majnificent wings and flapped up to it. She eased down onto the ledge and placed her talons, one on top of the ther. Her stormy surprisingly silver eyes glitter maliciously.
"HI!" A rainwing popped up beside her. "Whats your name." Aurora yawned, she did everything she could not to shrink away from the creature. She coudlnt see how rainwings could even call themselves dragons. Curling her talons in, she ccalmlyu looked over at Quetzel. She streched out her neck , so her glittering scales could catch the light. And to reveal her necklace, with one silver circle chained around it.
She gave the Rainwing a regal steely eyed glare.
'This.... thing obviously needs to learn it's dragons. How could any dragon not recgonize a princess when theys saw one?'
Cold presipitation rose her Aurora's nostrils.
"Watch your tounge Rainwing, or It might just fall off." She smirked deviously, dropping a serious hint to her animus "powers." The Icewing spoke slowly, lethally, her tone however did not carry the notes of a threat. MOre of a promise.
Aurora almost smiled triumphantly as the Rainwing left. BUt Years of practice kept her face blank and emotionless. She turned her cold, icy gaze twoards the rest of her group. Her group so far wasnt as bad as she eailer thought. BUt that Rainwing will cause soome problems, especially with it's constant blabbing. Everyone else was more.. serene.
Aurora knew for a fact, gettign the rainwing to like her wouldnt be a problem. But she did not want the rainwing to like her. She wanted it to obey her. Thats when the Sandwing came barreling in. Aurora kept her emotionless afce and turned to look at it.
'THis just got worse....' She thought. That Sandwing seemed to.. mushy.
Thats when her eyes fixaited onto the Nightwing.
'Nightwing once the most feared dragon in all of Pyriah. They must hate the drgaonets for ruining their reputation. I will remember that.' Aurora mananged to stop herself to revealing a wicked smirk.
'Now... how can I get myself sent back home... Something terrible has to happen.' Aurora tapped her talons to the rock.
'Maybe I co-' she stopped in dead thought. The Nightwing had his head tilted back like he was listening... that was impossible. She narrowed her eyes, offically calculating him as a threat. Even potential threats coudl damage her esacpe plans.
Aurora looked away and shifted her wings.
'OH I abosuletly love this cave! I cannot wait to simply slaughter everybody!' She thought rather loudly.
( Too lazy to write anything good )
" I'm here!" He said, stumbling into the cave. " I hope I'm not late." Then he noticed everyone was already there. " Oh." He simply sat in one of the grass beds.
Flare observed everyone. The Sandwing seemed soft. The Seawing she wasn't sure about. The Rainwing was far too hyper. The Icewing was cold and emotionless looking and seemed so full of herself. The Nightwing was very mysterious and questionable. And the newly arrived Mudwing was clumsy. She decided to keep her eye on the Icewing and Nightwing; they seemed the most suspicious.
The Seawing looked around in interest as the icewing, nightwing, and sandwing arrived. The icewing was a very rude person, no doubt. But after seeing her own emotionless face, cold words, Wavecrest looked her in the eyes without fear, simply glaring "Well, someone got up on the wrong side of the iceberg this morning,"
She hated bullies like these. She really hoped she wouldn't have to whip her tail around a little, which was surprisingly strong for land use as well. She kept on glaring in her silent way at that dragon, even after looking back to her seeweed, and commencing chewing again.
"Oh..... you'll have to try harder than that sweetheart!"
Aurora smirked delightfully at the nightwing as he turned away laughing. She tried to smother her own chuckle. He must of fallen for it,
'Hmm thats odd. He appears as if he CAN read minds, which means the Dragonets of Destiny were lying. But why? This is very valuable information indeed.' But Aurora thought nothing more suddenly consious of eyes on her.
Aurora turned her head and looked at a SeaWing who was slimply glaring at her. She returned the stare, flat, emotionless, unblinking. Her cold eyes boring into the SeaWing's reflective ones.
Oh... it was that rather annoying NightWing she saw eailer.
'Can she read minds? I doubt it.' Aurora looked over at the NightWing again before gradually easing to her talons. She was the first to leave the cave. Jumping off her perch and spiraling down gracefully. The diamonds she had embeded in her scales shone to light shimmering and dacing. Sparkling.
Aurora swiftly walked away, head held high in a superior manner , following the steady stream of dragons.
The icewing returned her glare, cold and emotionless. It wasn't hard keeping up a glare at someone who you don't like. She kept on glaring her own icy glare at the Icewing. Nobody ruled here, and the icewing needed to learn that.
"Dinner time!" Called the Nightwing from before. Ah well. Putting away her seaweed snack, the Seawing jumped of from the rock she was sitting on and proudly walked out, taking calm, high steps, where she held her feet high. Water glinted on her scales, and she shook them of behind her. Following the Nightwing, she soon came to a hall with mountains of fish and other foods, and several other dragons already eating. This was a nice place to be all right.
Aurora picked her way into the large cave. In the croner of her eye she caughta flash of white scales, icicle! Aurora watched as her sister turned to stare at her, cold and caluting.
'Well, she's up to something.' Azure recalled, a rumble growing in her throat. She turned her glittering eyes away and twoards the chaos that was the prey center. Dragons were running everyone screamiong and shouting. But one voice rose amongst them all.
"GET AWAY FROM MY SCAVENGER." That was Winter. His dumb pet probablyg to loose again. Aurora sighed.
