Error conecting to the game

When I open the SoD PC app to run the game, it shows the connection error displayed in one of the screenshots attached. Once I click the checkmark button, it brings me to a black, infinite loading screen as portrayed in the second screenshot. I have tried re-installing and restarting my computer several times, as well as making sure I have the most recent version of the game using the auto-update software that comes with the download. I am running Mac OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6 on an 11-Inch MacBook Air (mid 2012). Any ideas?

Oh yeah, I get that too. If your internet is down or is really weak it will have a hard time loading and it will say that. But for me when it happens I have to stop playing the game for like 30 minutes just to give it a break. Most of the time It will work again like the next day or an hour later.

 Lol, sorry that I wasn't that helpful. But that's what I do when it happens to me. Other people might have better ideas. Hope the game works for you again! if it still doesn't work email the SoD people.

the fact that it's a computer from 2012 probably doesn't help anything xD.

Try reinstalling...

Hello Viking! Thank you for reporting this issue. A new update has recently been released and it might be why you are receiving this error message. Please make sure you have updated the game, you can do so by reinstalling if you are not receiving the automatic prompt. Do let us know if the issue continues, and you can read more about the update here

A couple of suggestions

Make sure you have the latest updates from Apple for your operating system.  Also, download the SoD software from the Apple store.
