Entire computer freaked out

Honestly just really wonder what the heck they put in this game since the latest update. I was working in killing a stuck ship (a glitch in hope is never changed tbh), switching in between dragons before it froze while doing so then the entire screen went blank and loud buzzing filled my ears. I had to forcefully turn my computer off.
Of course this isn't the first time it has happened to me. All the other times I always thought it was three computer overheating because it felt really warm, but I felt it this time and it wasn't. The fact that I've been hearing problems of the game killing my friends' computers as well, definitely has to prove it's all the game.

I know this is no new, news. Everyone knows this by now, but doesn't make it any less annoying, especially with it happened for over a month or more.

I know they have told us they were working on it, but only told us once. We never heard anything since and haven't seen any improvements.Really wish they would keep us up to date with it.

This is mostly kind of a rant I guess. I really don't want to be harsh. I haven't played for years, only few month, so I still do see the admins as humans as they really are, so I know all this must be hard if they really are working censored it all. I just wish they would keep us updated with it.

Blank screen and buzzing? What kind of buzzing? Does it sound like a very, VERY short sound loop? If this happened more than once, it might be an issue with your graphics card. You could check your event log if you know how to and see what errors and criticals turn up. ...But I think it might definitely be a good idea if you updated your graphics and sound drivers. There's a decent chance that it'll fix your problem.

You could also check how many sound drivers you're using. If you're using more than one at once, try to disable all but one.

Hope it helps a little bit, at least. SoD's so riddled with bugs and compatibility issues. It's hard to tell whether a problem is SoD's fault or not. Very frustrating.

Well buzzing is the best word i could think of to describe how it sounds when it does this. This has just never happened to me until the update tbh, and I'm a complete idiot and don't trust myself with computers, considering how I somehow killed many I had in the past. So I might see what my friend who built my computer for me says about what you said?

I really wish it wasn't hard to tell between the game or computer. I just wish it would stop somehow, someday.

It might as well be SoD that caused your crash. It's... very unstable and likely very incompatible with some builds. It's hard to tell because complete crashes like that often don't get logged either. I'd definitely ask your computer friend if they can take a look and update your drivers, if possible!
