"Des!" I said as I hugged the Snd Wraith "It's payback time." I said as I charged up a huge sonic blast. I then shot it at the Queens open mouth. "Fire into her mouth while she can't close it!"

The Queen swallowed it and flew out of the volcano and her wings made such a wind that it carried Des and I with it. The Queen was aflame and I hit her back along with Des.

Aria the Slither Song Brute

Aria watched the battle go on as more dragons entered the battle even another song. this one had managed to s pick off the sand wraith but it was not going down with out a fight as it clamped its teeth into her leg it hurt like helheim but she could not let this one go she could not show up empty clawed. "Oh won't you throw away all your struggles and just listen to the sound of my voice." she sang out. All she had to do was get the dragon to hold still so she could get a precise shot in. But this one clearly could not take the pain as she let go of the young dragon. "Always pick your battles she thought."

Razeth ☆彡

Razeth soon realized the little skirmish wasn't the end. Soon enough, the volcano trembled and the Queen came out with an army of dragons.

Curse that overgrown vermin! The silver scaled thought and hurled himself at the wave of dragons.
“RAAAHHHHH!” He let out a ferocious war cry as he spewed out blue flames at anyone who got too close.
Razeth, as the ball of fury and rage he was, trampled dragon after dragon, leaping and gliding up to the next as he made his way to the volcano where the Queen resided.
Suddenly, he bumped into another dragon, knocking him down and preventing him from ascending.
“Why you-” he began to snarl when he realized who it was.
Before him was his mother. The older and more experienced Silver Phantom was under the influence of the Queen.
“Mom! What are you doing here?” He cried in disbelief.
Razeth received a mix of a roar and a desperate cry before she blasted a beautiful cyan flame at her son. He dodged, realizing the situation. That dam.n overgrown baby!
“Mom, stop! Don't you recognize me?” He yelled again, swooping at her and grabbing her foreleg. “It's Razeth!”
The older Silver Phantom dove elegantly, twisting and letting out more fire as she attempted to throw off Razeth, but the younger held on.
Fine, if that doesn't work, he thought.
“CHRYSANTHEMUM!” He screamed his mother’s name with all his might. “SNAP OUT OF IT!”
(Just as Rip and Des fire into the queen’s mouth, Chrysanthemum breaks out of the Red Dea.th’s mind control)
Razeth tackled his mother to the ground. “Mom…” he sobbed.
He then felt a tender talon stroke his cheek, wiping away his tears. “Oh, my dear Razeth.”
The younger Phantom looked up and saw his mother smiling weakly at him. “You're so brave. Thank you.”
Razeth hugged her fiercely as Chrysanthemum stroked his back for a moment.
“Now, let’s beat that wretched no good Red Dea.th, shall we?” His mother prompted the young Phantom to get off as she stood up.
Razeth nodded, his eyes sparkling bright with renewed determination.
“Climb on, I’ll get us there faster,” his mother instructed.
The younger Phantom climbed onto his mother’s back and held on, though it was clear he was growing too big for such a thing, but Chrysanthemum didn't seem to be bothered.
The female Phantom shot upwards just as the Queen shot out of the volcano, her body apparently already aflame.
Chrysanthemum nimbly sped up up til the two phantoms were in front of the Queen. Neither had to speak for they knew what exactly to do.
Both summoned blue flames to their mouths and blasted them into the Queen’s mouth for one final blow.

SilverBrush was almost at her secret place, all she need to do was dive down this cliff, and then find the entrance.

SilverBrush looked around to make sure no one was following her, when on the horizon, she saw a gigantic blob, surrounded by smaller blobs.

"What in the name of Thor?" She said to herself.

She could see little flashes of light.

What was going on over there?

Crocus smiled and nodded when Oceanic agreed to come along with. "Great! Make sure to follow closely now." Crocus said, beginning to trot off. Thistle sighed slightly as the drama di.ed down, as he loved a good show. Still, things might flare up anywhere they go. Nettle grumbled as they walked, though was slightly intrigued himself to visit this place. Thyme was content at the fact they were doing what he wanted to do for once. The Snaptrapper walked down a path leading out from the Gliding Cliffs, going down into a sort of 'central' area in which various openings to various cave systems were abundant. Most of the caves lead to dragons' homes, though others connected to tunnels leading throughout the mountains. They entered the left-most tunnel which winded a good ways, then dispersed them out into an open, windy field. Crocus took a deep breath, enjoying the breeze. He glanced around for a second, slightly forgetting where to go. "It's left." Thistle reminded him, grinning a bit. Crocus gave him a slight glance, then looked away in a nonchalant manner. "I knew that." Crocus replied, to which Thistle chuckled a bit to. "Sure ya did."

With a small hop, they glided down the long rolling hill they'd been perched on, landing a bit heavily at the bottom. A rabbit dashed out from a rock, startled by their sudden landing. Crocus watched it go, his pupils dilating as his instincts kicked in. It had already spotted them, though, so their hunting strategy wouldn't work very well. He relaxed as the tall grass tickled their sides ever so slightly, pausing now to allow Oceanic to catch up if she was behind. After a small wait, they continued forth across the plains until the land became more rocky. After a few gaps cleared their location finally came into view. With a collective grunt after landing on a ledge they looked out upon the great rumbling mountaintop. "He we are!" Crocus announced, looking out at the grassy mountain. "This is it- The Snoring Mount. Our parents had told us about it when we were younger, and we found it just the other day." Crocus explained, grinning. Even now a low rumble reverberated through the area, sounding almost like a large tree groaning. The area had a warm, calming aura about it. "I never thought the mountain would actually snore, but there it is." Thyme said, smiling and looking around curiously. Crocus glanced back to see how Oceanic was doing since the trip was quite a walk.

Kk.

Also, I'm slightly confused on what happened. So, Rip and Des are outside of the volcano because the Red De.ath's lift was so powerful, it gusted them out of it? And a slithersong that's not Aria followed Des out and began singing so she went limp in air?

Clarification please! >.<

Crocus smiled as the Scauldron's eyes lit up when she had taken a look around. "Oh wow... This is amazing!" She said. Crocus chuckled slightly, turning back to stare at the mountain. A quick glide from the ridge, and they'd be standing on it. With a leap, they did just that, and soon landed on the rumbling ground. It felt warm underfoot, a kind of comforting warmth. The trees growing there shook in the breeze, birds chirping merrily from their branches. Thistle reflected on the slight tremors he felt underfoot, and sensed a good opportunity to spin a tale to this young dragon. "You know, alot of stories surround this little mountaintop as to why it rumbles the way it does," Thistle said, taking on a lilting tone of voice. Nettle recognized this as his 'story-telling' voice, and groaned at the nonsensical babbling that would ensue. Crocus, however, was always charmed by his brother's story-telling. "-Some say this mountain is actually a volcano, and the tremors and rumbling is from pent up lava ready to burst forth. They say that most life around this area would perish if that happened, killing off all the trees and wildlife you see here and spreading choking volcanic ash across this entire island." Thistle said, a smile on his face as he pictured this whole place going 'kablooey' and effectively destroying all of this peaceful scenery in a mere second. "Others say it's just residual shaking from the digging most of the Whispering Deaths do, and sometimes even the destructive burrowing of the Screaming Death itself, furthering the possible destruction of our island by hollowing it out." Thistle said, though he found that outcome more boring. Thistle and Crocus both found this storytime particularly dark. "On a lighter note, some say this whole mountain is actually a very old, very large dragon who's been asleep here for centuries. They say this dragon is the 'King of the Mountains, and he's the one that's kept the peace here for all these generations. They say he fought a great battle for freedom here amongst these very cliffs, then shortly afterward gave these mountains to house his followers, falling into a deep sleep until the next threat dared disrupt the peace." Thistle said, casting a glance back at Oceanic. "If the lattermost is true, we're standing on the back of a giant right now." Thistle remarked. Crocus grinned, imaging one day this whole mount rising up from the cliffs, the King arising to fight for his followers once more. He'd always loved the stories his parents had told of such types of battles. They walked along now, admiring the various greenery and unknowingly being watched by those who were very, very good at hiding. So good, in fact, that they would not be known of for years to come. "Other myths and tales surround this place, as well! Such as one we're going to test out right here, tonight." Thistle said, a gleam in his eye that could either be described as wonder, or intrigue. "Some dragons say if you fall asleep here you dream of your future." Crocus explained, following a light dirt trail they'd found. "A bunch of nonsense, is what it is." Nettle huffed, rolling his eyes. Thyme took in the scenery with wonder, though was still off-put by Thistle's volcano story earlier. "We'll soon find that out, won't we Nettle?" Thistle said, casting a wry glance at his brother. Nettle looked away from him, annoyed by his brother's voice. They walked out onto a nice grassy clearing with a large oak tree to settle down under. The Snaptrapper settled down underneath it, looking out on the now dark horizon. "Beautiful night tonight, isn't it? Crocus said, looking over at Oceanic. Thyme traced shapes in the early-forming stars, while Nettle stared down a bird that was above them. Thistle dwelled on the idea of such a giant dragon ever existing. "To be so strong, yet to waste your life sleeping.. Shameful.." He thought, staring out at the sky. Crocus kept a warm gaze on the Scauldron, smiling. "This place really does have an air about it, doesn't it? Feels like I'm walking into the stories of my childhood.." Crocus remarked, staring fondly off into the distance.

After a few hours of flying, SilverBrush was becoming more and more confident.

Maybe soon, she would move out and live her life flying high in the sky like all SilverPhantoms did.

Would she be too busy up high in the sky?

Would she see many other people again?

Now that all that’s over, I should find Riptide and Desert Beauty, the young Phantom thought.

Oceanic quietly listened as Thistle told a few myths or rumors about the mountain. She felt a little uneasy at the volcano story, but was fascinated by the mount actually being a really large dragon. "Isn't it kinda rude that we're standing on him?" She thought and felt bad for walking all over a potential living being. Tilting her head, she quietly followed Thistle when he mentioned the other myth. "Yeah, this place feels magical." She said as she settled down next to the Snaptrapper.

"Yeah, this place is magical." Oceanic said as she settled down by them. Indeed it was. Prickleboggles chattered quietly in the trees, speaking in tiny dragon voices that were to faint to be heard by those larger than them. The birds quieted now, but the insects hastily took up their place, buzzing loudly in the trees and as the flew by. The sky darkened into a swirl of stars as the night started to come on. Thyme relaxed in the moment, content in the peace. Nettle felt annoyed by those noisy bugs, catching one in his mouth and eating it as it flew by. Crocus smiled at Oceanic's comment. Thistle felt his active mind betrayed him to the calm demeanor of his brothers, and guessed he'd have to keep his plans and thoughts inward tonight. He did ponder the Scauldron's statement, though. "I suppose we shall discover if it's magical or not here soon." He said, staring out at the night sky. Crocus yawned, remembering their 'goal'. He looked awkwardly at Oceanic now, finding they hadn't made much conversation. "I'M tired, so I think I'll hit the hay for tonight. I apologize for not chatting too much, though I hope you know it wasn't to be unfriendly." Crocus said, smiling warmly at Oceanic. "I just didn't really know what to talk about." With that, Crocus curled his neck down amonst the grass, taking in its rich smell and closing his eyes. Thyme followed, leaving Nettle and Thistle still awake. Thistle glanced at Nettle, who was drooping now. Nettle seemed to be fighting it, though, likely because Thistle was still awake. Thistle smirked at his brother's simple mind. "Aha, I believe I should retire as well, for others in our company seek to be the last one standing." Thistle said, grinning at Nettle. Nettle seemed too distracted to be offended. Thistle quietly curled his neck down into the grass, leaving only Nettle awake with Oceanic. He eyed her warily, refusing to sleep on such ground as this, nor to be seen doing so. "Hi." Nettle said curtly, blinking his eyes lightly. "You really do have small wings, don't you?" He observed just as curtly.

After the defeat of the Queen dragon, Razeth’s mother ushered him home, promising he could see his friends the next day and catch up with them then rather than bother them right after the battle. The two Phantoms flew back to the Dragon Mountains. As they arrived at the shore of their home isle, Chrysanthemum noticed her son’s exhaustion from the day’s fun and adventure and beckoned for him to hold on to her as she took off for their home high in the mountains. "Hey." The Scauldron had addressed before Nettle's question, of which she answered with "I guess, but I'm sure they'll grow once I'm older.". Nettle partially listened, fighting back sleep as he was intent on keeping guard. However the day's antics weighed heavy on him, and he started nodding off. Until he slumped down, down, down.. And eventually slowly curled limp against the ground, practically snoring his head off. That day had been an eventful one, but the night yielded even more eventful.

★ ● (Dreamstate) ● ★

Thyme stood resolutely at the top of a large rock, overlooking a huge crater that looked somewhat like a caldera. The vegetation around was lush and full, and the area hummed with the sound of dragons. The picture frayed around the edges as if unclear and blurry, Thyme feeling confused as to what he was seeing here. Someone was yelling about something, though the words were unclear. He felt pride and worry mixed in his chest, however he did not know why. An uproar of cries rattled below, dragons turning up and bellowing fire into the sky. He stared on in confusion before the image faded altogether.

Nettle was locked in a furious battle with an unknown enemy, weaving and hissing and biting. His blows landed in fearsome flashes, as the hostile dragon clawed and slashed in attempt to best him. The beast was a great, hulking terror. It looked as if it were a dragon, though the kind of dragon he did not know. It was cloaked in shadow and its eyes gleamed a terrible, evil brightness. The two fought with great malice, though the battle wavered to both sides at various points. Nettle felt vigorous and protective, only leading him on to fight further with twice as much fury. A cry to his left caught him off guard, and just as he looked, everything went black.

Thistle found himself observing a smoky, corroded dreamscape. Eyes peered out from the cloud around him as he whispered deceitful whispers to them. He felt he was in a tight pinch, nothing he couldn't handle. "Aha... So alas I have some intriguing company." He was saying, though his words echoed around him as if they weren't his own. Voices replied from all around, speaking such interesting speakings that he couldn't resist listening to them. He felt a draw to their words, to what they wanted him to do. He pondered it a moment, then rejected it entirely. "I believe I shall do things my way, for now, that is." An uproar from around caused his very soul to rumble with unfriendly tidings. He simply chuckled, enjoying every bit of their little attempts of trickery. "Let's not get uncivil. We'll have our day, don't worry a bit. I sense our future is a great one indeed." Thistle mused to himself, floating in this thought gleefully and staring out into the inky shadows. A nameless evil stared back at him, rearing in a hateful scowl. He simply flashed it a smile and a wink of his eye. "I do think we'll meet again." He remarked, and then the light rushed in upon him.

Crocus found himself sitting amongst several dragons and their families, chatting warmly about simple things. An air of solemnity filled the room, though he didn't know why. A brief glance away and he was now in a clearing busy with dragons. They all regarded him with a glance or a nod. He walked confusedly around, observing everything around him. The ground was smooth dirt and rock below him, the walls encompassing all around. Ferns and grass slithered up the walls and poked through cracks and grew all along the ground. The hollow soon faded, though, and he found himself perched atop a golden colored mountain, the area bathed in warm light. He stared down at the lands below, an importance hanging over this moment. A glance around revealed other dragons had joined him, staring concernedly all around. Crocus felt as if war loomed overhead, though with who or what he did not know. A feeling of responsibility hung on his shoulders, though. Responsibility for these dragons around him. Apparently he blinked the wrong way, though, as he was abruptly waking up on a stone floor, his eyes fluttering open. He meant to move, but found he couldn't. Fear and anxiety choked his throat as his mouth hung limply open, his neck drooped against the ground lifelessly. Somehow his body was moving, though he did not know how. His head was suddenly moved by someone else so that he caught a glimpse of Thyme slumped against the floor as well. As for Nettle.. Well.. Nettle just wasn't there. A laugh echoed in his head. "I'm sure you're wondering how I've done it? How this is happening? How cute, your attempts to fight the poison.." It hissed with a cruel delight in its voice. Crocus could only watch as his body shifted, dragging him along the ground with it. "Soon you'll be gone for good, And I'll have my way.." The voice hissed. Crocus was vaguely aware of a crunching noise behind him as the minutes ticked on, and everything slowly went dark.

The Snaptrapper awoke very abruptly and very spazzily. All heads seemed to had woken at once, Crocus popping up and breathing quite heavily, Thistle twisting around to see what the matter was, Nettle biting at Thyme's neck, and Thyme waking up because of the teeth digging into his neck. "OWW Get off!" Thyme yelled, ramming his head into Nettle's to ward him off. Nettle detached and blinked his eyes slightly, then yawned. "Oh. We're awake." Nettle said, then shrugged. Thyme wheezed, shaking his head annoyedly. Crocus settled down after he realized it was all a dream. Thistle observed him with amusement. "Had a nightmare, did we? Was it the one about the spiders-in-your-nose again?" Thistle teased. Crocus huffed at him, very much not liking that tone of voice after what he just went through. "No. It was something entirely different. I really don't know if it was 'prophetic' or not, though.." Crocus said, glancing down tiredly. "Well of course it was pathetic if it rustled the likes of you so much." Nettle jabbed, smiling. "PRO-FFET-IC, Nettle. He said prophetic." Thyme reinforced warily. Nettle sniffed, tilting up his nose slightly. "Oh yes Thyme, I'm sure you know all about the word 'pathetic' given your first-hand experience." Nettle retorted. Crocus felt a headache itch at him already, though admittedly was glad to hear Nettle's albeit arrogant voice. "Break it up, guys. Let's not get into an argument this early in the morning." Crocus said, getting up and stretching their legs. Thyme noticed Oceanic nearby. "Sleep well?" He asked politely and quietly in the slight chance their outburst hadn't somehow awoken her. He decided ignoring Nettle was the best way to handle him. Nettle smiled smugly, feeling he got the last word in. Thistle stared off into the distance, lightly balancing around the dream he had and pondering it over. Crocus unknowingly did the exact same.

I bite my lip and slowly look down "Because I love you and I don't want you to be worried about me." I say as I take of the mud revealing the scar.

I sigh, "let's go see Razeth.he will know how to fix it, and trust me, I would rather be worried then lied to, I don't like it when you are hurt but I like it even less when you lie.. it just.. saddens me." I look down.

I bite my lip really hard and say "I I promise I won't ever lie to you again." I then put my wing over her

Summer melody - death song

Groundcrasher had come back later that night, he told summer melody that the song's nest had been destroyed, but he seemed to be holding something back. Summer fell asleep rather quickly that night anyway.

She had woken up, still quite groggy and had gone out to sun herself somewhere out in the open.

Grapple Apple the Grounder

Grapple after losing dignity finaly managed to get on his way. The first thing on his mind was to get to the stream to get his pick of the morning salmon before the terrors get to it. He had a strict plan for the day first on the list was to find the largest fish he could find for Chip, then he wanted to meet back up with Melody again, after that he needed to find that snaptraper and apologize for crasing into him or her (them?) and if he had enough time left he wanted to find Des and Rippy to thank them for there kindness. But for now he could just take in the soothing atmosphere of the cave.

Razeth ☆彡

Razeth woke up feeling warmth surrounding him. He looked to his side groggily to see what made him feel so good and nearly jumped from his spot when he realized it was his mother lying next to him. “Mum!” He exclaimed, getting up, “You're here!” Chrysanthemum smiled at the sound of her son’s voice and met his gaze. “Yes I am, Razeth.” She stood up and inspected her son. The younger Phantom appeared rather unscathed from yesterday’s battle but the more she looked the more tiny marks she noticed. Her eyes came across several melted scales that she would've missed if she only looked over him once. “What happened there?” She asked, alarmed, gesturing to his scales by his neck and jawline. “Oh...probably just some dragon got me during yesterday’s battle at the volcano,” he said, not wanting to say he got into yet another fight with Thistle. Chrysanthemum accepted the answer, sighing. “Just bare with it for now. The scales will grow out eventually and new ones will take their place. If there's any pain, I’ll get some herbs to relieve it.” “Mm, I don't feel hurt at all,” Razeth turned down the offer. “I’m going to get some food for the morning now. See you next time, Mum.” He took off and glided towards his usual hunting spot when suddenly he heard his mother calling for him to wait. The silver scaled slowed and looked backwards as Chrysanthemum took off and joined him. “Let's hunt together,” she suggested. “It feels like we haven't done that in ages. Show you mother how much you’ve improved.” “Sounds great!” Razeth grinned, hyped to finally spend time with his mother again. ☆彡 ☆彡 ☆彡 The two of them hunted for a while, catching fish along the streams and other critters among the trees and hillsides of a small valley Razeth claimed as his hunting grounds. Of course others hunted there as well, but Razeth liked to consider it his spot since he always went there for hunting. “Razeth, how's it going?” The Phantom’s mother called as she glided over to her son. The younger Phantom looked up from the stream he was fishing at, a salmon caught in his jaws. “Mummph,” he replied, gulping down the fish. “Good.” He revealed a thrush from under his claws. “Want it?” “Of course,” Chrysanthemum smiled and took the offer. “It's a gift my beloved son.” She quickly ate the game bird and looked up at the sky. “It's about time you begin hunting in the sky.”
