(First off, I know this is a website suggestion but I figured it would get more attention here)

To any admin/dev reading this:

Please bring back the ability to post new threads in the support section of the forum. It's not right that this ability has been taken away. I know you all are trying to make people use the new support website but we should still have the option of posting new threads in the support section. The whole reason for the forum's existence is for admin communication with the players. The forum should not be abandoned in favor of this new support website you all have launched. Also, there are times when we, the players, just want to see if someone else is having the same problem as us so we can figure out if others are experiencing the same problem or if it's a "just me" problem. Where are we supposed to do that now? General Discussion? FAQ? It makes much more sense to post those kinds of questions in the support section of the forum. Also, there are some problems that the players can help someone with and there's no need for the player experiencing the problem to contact support. Not everyone knows about the new support website so I have a feeling that players are still going to post problems they are experiencing here on the forum, but instead of things being organized with all the issues being posted in the support section of the forum, people will just pick a random section of the forum to post their problems. Please bring back the ability to post new threads in the support section of the forum. It would be much appreciated.

Looking for a clan? Check out the Isle of Gazoo Clan Recruitment thread to see if Isle of Gazoo is right for you. If you're interested in joining, let me know even if all the spots in the clan are full. I might be able to find a spot for you. If you put in a join request in game and you don't reply on the Recruitment thread, if you could please put a brief message stating you've seen the Recruitment thread on the forum instead of the standard "Hi. Please let me join your clan." that would be greatly appreciated. :)

The greatest treasures are not gold,

nor jewels, nor works of art.

They cannot be held in your hands-

They're held within your heart.

For worldly things will fade away

As seasons come and go.

But the treasure of true friendship

Will never lose its glow.

About Me:

The first and most important thing you should know about me is that I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses. I enjoy studying the Bible and learning from it. I live by Bible standards and strive to apply Bible principles in my life everyday. Of course, I'm not perfect and would never claim to be. However, when I make a mistake I do my best to learn from it and then do my best not to repeat it. I apologize when neccessary and accept correction where it's needed. I happily talk about my religion and beliefs with others but I don't force it on them. If they aren't interested or tell me they don't want to talk about it, I respect that.

For more information on Jehovah's Witnesses, for answers to your Bible-based questions, or for information on a varity of topics, some of which  include: animals, countries, how to deal with bullies, how to have a happy family life, how to make real friends, and depression, please visit jw.org.

I have a feeling that those subforums were closed off due to the ridiculous amount of unclear and incomplete (and therefore useless) reports. No one read the stickies either. The support website makes people fill out a form containing all relevant info right off the bat, and recurring/common issues can be added to the FAQ on there. There's also the idea that they will add that support functionality to the game itself.

So yeah, if that's the reason, I completely understand. The support forums aren't useful as-is.

Now let's hope people won't see the closing of the support forums as an incentive to post support threads in other subforums. e_e

A wild outcast has appeared!

Hate to break it to you but they did said this in the Support Site announcement:

We kindly ask that you direct all questions and feedback to this support experience, as it is the fastest and most efficient way to reach us.  Our developers are also working on integrating this support technology directly into the game, though the timing on that is currently TBD.

Users kept posting in the Support thread anyway so they had to close it off to further hammer down the message. :'D

About me:

For a more in-detail Introduction about me, click here.

I'm LPS100, Genderfluid (any prounouns) and I'm a SoD veteran playing since August 15th, 2014. Still playing because "why not?". I consider myself the "Grinch of School of Dragons" due to SoD being the game that received the most negativity out of me (for multiple reasons).

In-Game Info and SoD Wiki:

I'm only in the game mainly for Wikia purposes. I only turn MMO on during battles but don't bother talk with me as I never use the chat as a form of communication. I have trained all the Dragons Species but the Thunderpede and the Scuttleclaw are my biggest favorite - my Dragon List is currently a WIP.

I'm one of the four major admins from the Dreamworks School of Dragons Wikia so, if you need help, I'm Wiki-LPS100. If you want to join us editing and contributing to the wiki:

Please remember that this isn't an official wiki. It was built and edited by players of School of Dragons and it was created to help and inform players and newcomers.

Replying to the thread itself instead of posting 2 separate replies.

Varku's last sentence is one reason I think it was a mistake to remove the option to post threads in the support section. Not everyone knows about the new support website so they'll just pick another spot to post their threads regarding in game issues. If they want people to use the new support website then I think they should just remove the support sections of the forum altogether and then post an ad for the new support site/a link to the thread announcing the new support site in the spot where the support section used to be. The way they've done things is just going to confuse people and people will start picking random places to post their in game issues because they don't know about the new support site.

The latest support updates announcement subforum has a sticky on top. Maybe they should put it in the other subforums as well. Although I assume most people who need support would check the support updates subforum first, before checking the others, though.

The FAQ on the support website would list common problems, so there's no need to ask whether an issue is a common thing or not. The forums already had a sticky that mentioned 'avoid the me too virus'. which people kept ignoring all the time.

I really don't think it's bad that they closed those forums off- barely anyone posted on there correctly, and admins barely responded to the few correctly formatted threads anyway, if at all. If the site actually makes it easier for Support to help people with their issues, it's all good.
