~ Alienated ~ (Unlimited Spots ~ Young Supers RP)
((Hate to say, 100 meters per 3 seconds isn't possible unless Gabriel has superhuman speed. Fastest human 100m sprint is 9 sec or something. So, is it ok to fix it? Or not if I missed the fact that Gabriel has enhanced speed, which I'm sorry if I did))
((I was aiming for 10 seconds. Whoops. I don't know how that became 3, tbh. I'll go ahead and fix it. ^^))
((XD kk. I sometimes make weird mistakes like that as well))
Idahko ((Sorry if I spelt his name wrong, I can't spell.)) called her on his radio.
"Whatd want!" She hissed at him, "I already lost my super today, and I don't need you bragging about you capturing yours."
((Did doon snag Heather as well?))
No, Doon didn't know she was a super.
Soon raindrops began falling from the sky, splashing against the ground and drenching anyone walking about without something to cover themselves with. Reid quickly shoved a hand into his pocket and fumbled around for his umbrella, pulling it out to full length and holding it over his head to cease the falling water from trying to soak his hair and shouders.
Shielded against most of the rain, the teen made his way though the now mostly empty park, the majority of people having rushed off upon the rain starting up.
Reid wound his way through the park, all the way to the other side and as far from where he had seen the SGO vehicles speeding down the street, though he knew it wouldn't do much to lose them if they were after him specifically, which was unlikely. Unless they knew more info on him than he thought. The idea didn't sit well with the boy.
Reid shifted his umbrella to the side slightly, taking a peek up towards the sky to see if the rain might be letting up, but with no luck; it didn't seem as if would finish pouring anytime soon.
The teen walked out of one of the many entrances to the park and onto the main sidewalk. He was just rounding the corner when he heard someone yell something, audible over the sound of the rain pattering against the material of his umbrella.
"Leave me alone!" The voice screamed, "I don't wanna hurt you!" But what really surprised Reid was when he set eyes on the figure that had shouted the words standing several yards ahead of him. It was a young boy, and hovering in the air behind him appeared to be some sort of... blades? The young boy was facing another person, closer to Reid's age, holding some sort of gun or pistol in his hands.
Reid could only guess that the kid was a super and the other guy was an SGO agent. Reid stayed where he was, out of sight as he tried figuring out what to do. He was tempted to run, find a secluded area, and open a portal to drop him directly to his apartment and away from all this. But considering how busy the city was, even with all the rain, there was no certain guarantee someone wouldn't see him and alert the SGO anyway, even if the agency didn't yet know about his powers. And with so many SGO seeming to be swarming around that day, that would be even more dangerous.
Which left him with the option to leave and hope the SGO didn't know he was a super before getting back to his apartment by foot. But right as he was about to turn away, he froze again in his tracks. What about that kid up against that SGO? It was possible he could fend for himself and get away, but what if he couldn't? Reid scolded himself for lingering about, but he waited where he was to see how the scene in front of him would play out.
"Pushy!? Hah, you obviously haven't been running your whole life. With the SGO knowing about you being a super, it's likely they're already trying to locate your family. With their tech it won't take them long, hence there is a need to be pushy...unless, you don't really care about them" Zero said smirking towards the end. He began walking out of the factory and looked up at the rain. He ignored the other girl's question on what powers he had, it's likely neither of the two know the girl he helped earlier was rather oblivious on what was going on before...it'd probably best kept a secret for the time being. "We should probably head out now, the rain will scatter their signals so they shouldn't be able to pin point us" Zero said, not waiting for a reply and walking out towards the entrance of the factory. I hate the SGO fiends, the only reason I'm helping this girl is to compromise the SGO's plans, the less they get of what they want the better he thought to himself
Heather opened one eye, then the other... she was curled up on the ground, still where she last was. But now the girl she was helping was gone. Probably snagged by that SGO. SO why hadnt she taken her as well? Maybe she diddnt know that Heather too was a super.
Heather snorted. Some SGO. That will probably turn out to be the biggest mistake in her life. Heather cocked her head. Most of the crowd had dispersed, however some stayed. Heather glared at them, the rest quickly moved back to get on with their ordaniary boring normal lives.
Heather pushed herself up against the wall and closed her eyes. She let out an exahle, crossed her legs and dug in deep throught he fabrics of time.
Each indivisualy thread- the outcome of certain events splayed in all of their glory in her mind. Heather bgean to snagg the threads one after another starting with the most prospaml one.
The most likely one sofar was, Heather being chased by so,e SGO's to a empty warehouse. But there was one, where she stopped, and went back. Where she went to Sam's alley, ate some old fires and tell him everything. Then there was that small less likely thread of her gttting sent to an orphanage and being adopte dby a nice couple.
That thread was weak, small, next to impossible, and it would completely disapear if she did was she was about to do. Heather exhaled. No, that wasnt likely anyways, she needed to do this...
Heather pricked the threads until she found one... the one where she made her way to save the girl. The outcome of that wasnt particulary lolipops and sugar canes. THere was no future where she successfully saved her. ONly one where she came close then died. Or the one where she instead was run down by SGO agents for having telekensis and fore sight.
Heather sighed. EIther way, most fututures seemed to lead her to a giant warehouse. She opened her eye, slipped her hands in her pocket and began to walk that way.
((Dont all the supers meet up in some place?))
Zero tilted his head as he heard footsteps, the sound was coming from the girl "...well, lead the way! I want this to be quick so I can tend back to business of which I came here for in the first place, my client is waiting" Zero insisted, gesturing his hands for Elizabeth to guide him. He turned his head a little for a brief moment to see if the blonde haired girl would follow.
Beatrice felt very depressed in the little room. She looked up when she saw the woman who had kidnapped her come into the room. She couldn't help but feel mad and had to bite her tongue to keep from screaming an insult and attacking the woman, for that tranquilizer was haunting her.
The woman had a look of pity in her eye. "Here," the woman said "This is just a little heart warming present," handing her a blanket. Beatrice took the blanket and wrapped herself into it.
The woman left the room, and locked the door right. She also scooped up the empty plate. Beatrice sighed, and started to think of a plan to get out. She had already tried teleporting out of the room, but something blocked her powers.
This time, she let out a blast if electricity that should have fried all the metal in the room. The Lightning went in every direction, and let out a loud boom in the process. When the dust cleared up, Beatrice could see clearly that the room was unharmed. And now she felt quite tired from using her powers to the max.
After thinking for a while, she let out the best blast of lightning she could generate, which was pretty weak, and aimed it at the door handle. Of course it veered of direction, but a small amount of it touched the doorknob, just enough to melt it. The whole doorknob melted, and the liquid metal fell to the floor. She hoped the boom wouldn't attract any SGOs that could thwart her plan to escape.
She slowly pushed the wall. It slid only a bit open, under her full strength, but it was enough for her to see that the door wasn't locked anymore. Out of strength, she fell to the floor to recharge her energy.
Gabriel could only run. He didn't want to hurt anyone since he is a pacifist, someone who wants to solve problems with peaceful methods rather than violence.
The water blades collapsed behind him. Since the SGO members are way behind, he decided to hide behind the bushes. He made the bushes grow more so that he can be completely covered. He thought of a new plan.
I could turn the corner into 37th Avenue, and run straight. Then, after five blocks I could turn left and run straight. Just before I cross the bridge into the outskirts, I should already see the factory. That's where I'll hide, he thought. He ran out of the bushes and turned to 37th street.
The rain has stopped already and the sun shone through the gray clouds. It was still windy, a strong breeze blowing consistently. Gabriel, now sprinting, turned left to another street.
Doon was training when she heard a bang. Deciding to ignore it because her job was to catch supers, not investigate strange noises, Doon changed out of her sweaty gray tank top and into a fresh tiger one. She went upstairs to the manager's office, only to find that she had beed assigned to taking care of supers. This discusted Doon. There were so many supers out there, wrecking havolk on the world, and she was stuck playing nanny. It was hard for Doon to resist punching her boss in the face. As she left, she slipped a file off the desk.
"I'll meet you there." She hung up her phone and raced back to her vehicle. She turned it on, and drove as fast as could without breaking the speed limit and waited for the super. She couldn't lose all hope yet.
Alyssa (aka Emilya)
She woke up after the sun had risen. She got out of bed and took a shower. She hadn't taken a shower in ages, I guess that's what you get for being on the run 24/7.
After her shower, she walked downstairs and had breakfast. For how good it was, she couldnt belive it was free with her room . But she had to get back on the road. She thanked the cashier and walked out of the hotel. Then she remember that it was below 0. She had too get a winter coat. Good thing that Target was across the street.
She quickly ran though the roads of taffic and entered the store. Inside it, had its own food place. There was notdogs, pretezls, popcorn, Icces, across snd so much more. But she had to continue looking for a good jacket. She walked over to the women's apartment and found a nice coat that was a scarlet red.
She walked over to the cashier and gave her the ha the money needed the bathroom buy the coat. Then she relised that she was running low on money again. She would have to find another job, yippe. "Do you have any job openings here?" She asked the women.
"Yes, just go over and fill out a form at the computer.""
"Thanks," Emilya mumbled under her breathe. She sat down at the computer. It asked her questions.
2)why do you want to work here?
And so forth. The computer finally said, Congratulations, you are a official member of the Target team!
Oh how lucky she was, she would end up having the job for a week and getting fired her luck. But she had to have some money. The computer said that her job started tomorrow so she'd have to return to the store.
She exited the building. Where was she going to stay? She turned into a raven and flew off deeper into the town. There was good news and bad news. Good news was that the town was fairly small, meaning that there were probably zero other supers or SGO people. But the bad news was that there were other ravens there. She managed to get away from the birds and fly and way but it was close. They suck to her like a magnet.
She finally found a nice little abandoned shack outside of the town. She settled into the shack and tried to make an indoor well. Shed luckily found shovel and dug a hoke in the middle of the floor. She could not have a well in this kind of weather outside for it would freeze for sure. She have a few neighbors but that wouldn't be a problem. She just couldn't let them see her, easy as cake. She might even start going to school, not. She just hoped that the SGO boy that almost captured here didn't come looking for her.
((Kk, I'll be gone for today I think. Gotta enjoy no school :3))
Zero raised an eyebrow, before making a straight face "this isn't a joke" Zero said, failing to see the girl's sense of humour. His life long job as an assassin caused Zero to have a rather murderous sense of humour. He followed the girl who appeared tonne bothered by the, that was the least of her problems, she clearly wasn't taking this seriously. Zero's pupils widened as she said 'I think...", "I'm a little concerned your doubting your navigation towards your own home" he teased. This was the first tim in 11 years he was walking with someone, the feeling surely did feel odd, but somewhat nice...
(( Catch up, plz?))
(This isn't a Zometa but I'll try. Emilya moved to a town in Minnesota because she was almost captured by a SGO. Karen and Ingona (SGOS) are chasing after a super. Aki and a few others are at a factory. And I know I'm missing a lot of others so you may have to read a bunch.))
Like Spader said, meet up at warehouse/factory.
"I'm counting on you to stay on his trail on catch him," Inado told her over the intercom. She slowed down the van and waited for the boy to appear for her.
Beatrice rested for an hour or so, she couldn't tell. Now, she pushed the door, and after a few minutes, the door opened wide enough for her to slip through.
She opened the door, and ran out of the room. She was in a building, which, sadly, was made of the same matierial as the room. She wouldn't be able to teleport out of it.
Seeing a window big enough for her to get out of. She saw a little bone in a corner, and threw it into the window. The window made a huge crashing sound, and she heard shouting and footsteps behind her.
Beatrice saw it was raining outside. Taking careful consentration, she made the rainwater come inside the window. The water morphed into steps, and she quickly jumped up on them, and ran out, making the steps disappear at the bottom, splashing the people inside. She teleported home, just in time.
Beatrice quickly made up a lie to her mother, in case the SGOs attacked her again.
"Mother," she said "You know my friend Sasha? Well, she has an extra ticket on one of her vacations, and wants me to go along. May I? I'll be gone a few weeks."
Her mother considered this "Sure, as long as you pack all you need for survival," her mother answered. "You're the best," Beatrice said as she hugged her mother.
She ran upstairs and packed everything she might need, in about four big suitcases. She took what she would need for a camp, while avoiding SGOs. She then ran outside, kissed her mother, and started on her way, into the country side.
(Are we supposed to meet up at the factory?)
Just wondering, who already is at the factory? Besides Aki))
"...I see..." Zero said as the girl explained about her uncertainty on her route home. He'd been walking for a while now, paying close attention to each apartment block they passed "is it one of those two there?" He asked, identifying the two he gestured as the six and seventh black came into view.
((Merry Christmas, everyone! I got a new laptop for Christmas!!! C=))
Gabriel Whittaker stopped for a second after hearing helicopter wings. He looked up, there was another SGO scanning the area. Quickly, he turned a corner and hid behind the plant cluster. In case the SGOs attack him, these plants will serve as his servants/soldiers.
Gabriel looked at the bridge. Several hundred meters behind it was the abandoned factory, his destination. He decided to stay hidden until the SGO turn another corner.
"My home is in the seventh block.. its a Tan house with black shutters and a red door, we can't miss it" The girl described.
Zero looked towards the seventh block, it matched the girl's description. Not a bad home Zero thought to himself To bad it will either end up abandoned or turned into rubble he thought narrowing his eyes. The girl then suddenly turned to him to ask a question.
"Can I ask you something?"
"hmm, what is it?" He responded in a slightly annoyed tone.
"Do you think that the SGO is expecting me to come for my family? Like some type of trap?"
Zero didn't respond. He turned his gaze to the house and then looked around at the surrounding area It doesn't seem as though they've located this place yet. I don't see any thing which could lead me to deduce their presence. "Perhaps I could go check, do you have key" Zero offered, lending his hand in expectance of the girl to hand over a key. "Don't worry you can trust me, everything will be fine, I can get in and out and no body would even know. I merely going to scout your home" Zero assured, a slight smile growing on his face.
((Aki's in the factory as well, right?))
Zero grabbed the key and walked towards the door, he took one quick glance before pausing time and entering the house. Despite time only being paused in reality for 0.1 seconds the speed and damage bonus Zero attains while in the tokitobashi realm I'd vastly superior to anything a human can conceive. He did a quick check of the house, luckily there were no SGO hiding anywhere, he then walked back out of the house and time unfroze "It's safe, the SGO aren't in there" Zero confirmed, throwing the keys back to the girl. "Now call out your parents, I'd like word" Zero requested.
(Um, do we meet at the factory? Cant figure out what to type)
((I believe so. I can do interactions with ur char if you'd like. I've a new char to introduce.))
P.s Aki's a little bored. I mean she's sleeping. Which means she's pretty bored, meaning her rper is very bored. But don't mind Aki's rper. She can live with a bit of boredom
(Yeah sure, guess we can. Pretty bored too by the way. I'm not complaining about my vacation though)
Pain and torture. That’s all Rin knew. The constant cycle of experiments, pain, and blood was all that she could think about. How she was going to survive until the sun rose again the next day. How she was going to make it to tomorrow.
A sudden sound of shattering glass and shouts caught her attention. She was being escorted down a hall from blood sampling. Her escorts exchanged looks and walked briskly towards the commotion, dragging Rin along.
She struggled to keep along, mostly being dragged across the ground to the site of the commotion. As her escorts came to a stop, Rin got up onto her feet and surveyed her surroundings. She was definitely at the site of an attempted escape. A shattered window, large enough for someone to escape through. She looked out the window, watching a female figure run off.
Escape, she mused. It had been a long while since she thought about such a fantastical idea. Who exactly can escape this place? They keep such good guard of me, I can’t even take a single step without them questioning me.
But at the moment, her guards were busy examining and consulting with other guards of the prison.
Escape, Rin mouthed the word. Maybe she could do it. One of her escorts still held onto her chains, but she had enough ability to move her hands to reach each other. Slowly, she unraveled her bandage around her hand and allowed blood to flow out, taking the form of a sword.
Rin took the chance to stab all of the guards. They instantly collapsed, groaning and struggling against her blood’s poisonous effects. She immediately fled through the window, running out.
She continued running, not daring to look back, until she rammed into a body.
“Ow!” she fell backwards from the impact, her blood scattering on the ground.
She rubbed her head and refocused her vision. Realizing her blood on the ground, she immediately retracted it, bandaging up her hand.
“S-sorry!” she stammered, apologizing to the person she bumped into.
Oh god, did I get caught so early? She thought, scrambling to her feet.
“Don’t turn me back in!” she squeaked, backing away and turning around to flee.
She then noticed the girl she had bumped into was the same she saw escape her imprisonment.
"Wait, are you a super as well?" she asked.
(Um, in my last reply, Beatrice teleported home, and went out to the countryside, she wasn't near the building)
((I didn't specify how far Rin ran. Just that after a while, she bumped into someone, assumingly Beatrice))
(Oh okay then)
Beatrice dragged along all of her suitcases, over the country side. The mid afternoon sun was warming along her back. Beatrice yawned and sat down on a rock to rest. Her hair blew into her face, making her madder as she threw it back around her neck. If only the SGO hadn't found her and her powers, life would be normal.
Just as Beatrice stood up, she felt something ram into her, and she was pushed over by the force. She gave a surprised yelp and turned around. Beatrice saw a young girl behind her, who had fallen over as well.
"S s sorry," the girl said, with some fear in her eyes. With a sudden move of her hands, the blood that had fallen from her skin was sucked back in. Beatrice looked at her with a gaping mouth.
She started to back away, and quietly said "Don't turn me back in," and turned to run.
Beatrice looked at her with a confused face, wondering who she was, for her eyes carried a heavy burden. Suddenly, the girl turned around and looked her over. "Are you a super as well," she said even more quietly.
Beatrice looked her over, still with a gaping mouth. She muttered "How did you do that? And, how did you know I was a super?" Beatrice had several other questions in mind, but ignored them, looking at the girl.
