~ Alienated ~ (Unlimited Spots ~ Young Supers RP)
I arrived at school just before the bell, reaching my first class just as the teacher walked in. Sitting in my seat, I took out my books and prepared for another day of class.
((Oh, dear SGO, ready to come after me?))
The plane arrived at the destination: a town with the reputation to sell all sorts of deadly weapons without contracts. Though when inspection came around, nothing could be found to be done illegally. Inaho disliked the government for shrugging off the matter. To create a peaceful society, such dangers should be removed.
He put on his headset and moved out, tracking down his suspect.
Just saying, Doon is a woman...
Doon looked at the girl who had kicked her, still with a firm grasp on the girl. Slowly, she spoke. "Who...do...you...think...I am?" Anger rose inside Doon. She reached out to grab the other girl, but the pain made her miss. Doon winced at her failure. The kick hurt. Doon was glad that she wasn't a man, though. As she scowled, Doon felt frustrated at the fact that SGOs often never helped her, and for a moment, she debated using the tranquilizer. At seeing a croud start to form, she hissed subtley. Tranquilizer it was!
Swap was flying. Flying past everything she knew. Flying into darkness. She fell with a thud, but she felt no pain. Suddenly, creatures of darkness were all around her. Swap screamed, but no sound came out. In anguish, she tried to run, but her legs wouldn't work...
Swap woke up screaming. Her sister hushed her, but seeing the look on Swap's face, she whispered, "Dream, again?" Swap nodded.
(Um, did anyone read my post before that I posted? Oh well.... ill just change my part)
Beatrice couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the girl come up and kick the woman holding her. She noticed that small crowd gathering around. 'This is bad' she thought to herself. The woman snarled and said to the girl. Slowly going to sleep if tiredness, it was harder and harder to understand what was happening around her.
Putting all her strength into one final attempt, she took a moment when the woman reached for the girl to kick the tranquilizer out of her holder, and with that closed her eyes and listened simply to what was going on.
Karen looked through her files.
Last spotted entering school
Possible Super (someone claimed to have seen her fly across the city)
SGO: Karen Harrison
Karen closed her labtop. 'Last spotted entering school.' She thought. She could easily catch her the next time she got on the bus, but before her capture, she would have to make sure she used her powers. Even just a little bit would be useful.
She grabbed some tranquilizer darts from around the building. She didn't feel like dragging around her giant power-taker-away today. SShe also had to grab a gun to put the darts in. She also made sure to grab her keys, those were rather important.
She walked outside and went into her van and drove into the school parking lot. She had a picture of Aki, too. Her plan was to watch and see what bus she went on and follow in. Once to the bus stop, the girl would get off the bus. After the bus would leave, she would shot the girl from the window of the van. Then she would drag the girl into the van and put her in one of the cages, and bring her to the lab for testing. And all she had to do was wait.
((omg, sorry Mango. You made a typo and put he I think, that's all I saw. D: wub me.))
Heather squealed and tried to run away. However, as she tried to flee, her foot got caught in a crack. First she was running, and the next moment she was talking. The ground rushed up closer and closer untill it hit her in the face. Rolling over and desperate, Heather tried to scramble to her feet.
This was it. She was done for now.
((Don't the SGOs chase all the Supers to a abandoned warehouse or something?))
THE DAY was nice. Birds sang their song, the air was nice and cool. Until that agent decided to muck up her life... Again! H yeah, did she mention that the SGO killed her mother, tearing up the entire house to look for her? And her Father made an escape with 6 yr old Lorelei just in the nick of time. Only to drop her off in a foster home then hidehimself. Lorelei had been angry and out for vengeance ever since.
Lorelei was taking her usual route to school. She took a turn into an alley, it was a short cut. Then something caused her to pause. A presence that raised the hairs on the back of her neck. Movement in the shadows... Lorelei shrugged then kept on walking.
She walked a bit, she took4 right turns, the presence was still there, somebody definitely was following her.
"Hah!" Lorelei shouted as she whirled around. A bolt of eltricity shot from her hands, it curled around her purser like a whip. She heard a shout and knew she hit her target.
Lorelei glanced at the man laying immobilized on the floor. He would of been handsome, had he not been trying to kill her. Lorelei cocked her head as he groaned and lifted a hand to his head.
How had he survived that? Lorelei groaned. She had one last tatic.
She accessed his inner feelings, she began feel her face change. The man blinked his eyes open and smiled at her. Lorelei smiled back. She wondered what she appeared as. After all, she was supposed to be the most beautiful woman, according to this one man's taste.
"What are you doing on the ground?" She asked in her best tone. The man, whom she confirmed was part of the SGO, laughed nervously.
"The question is, what is a beautiful lady like yourself doing in this dark alley." He asked. His voice was deep.
"Just kissing some frogs to find a prince." She replied.
"Hmm. Maybe I'm your prince."
As she leaned in, she slipped of her gloves. Just then a knee to the face sent he r whirling. Lorelei choked as she was sent to the floor, one glove dangerously off her hand.
The man looked disapprovingly at her. He lunged at her, dart gun in hand. Lorelei staggered to her feet and began to run. He saw right through her charm!
After tidying up the garden a little more, Gabriel went inside his house, a bungalow with two floors and two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. He grabbed his blue bodybag. Inside, you can see snacks, a sketch pad, two pencils, an eraser, a phone, a pair of earbuds, and his wallet. He examined his face in front of the mirror before going outisde. Gabriel locks the door with a small key and started walking quickly. His intent was to go to the park, stay there for a few hours and head back.
Gabriel loved sightseeing, especially at the park. He would draw the park's landscape, the people that went there, and occasionally, the birds that flocked to steal breadcrumbs from unsuspecting senior citizens.
After thirty minutes of walking, he finally arrived. The park's welcome arch towered over Gabriel. He sighs as he started pacing towards the spot he always sat on.
Gabriel likes interacting with water. Luckily, there was a relatively large pond right beside where he is sitting, so he put the bag down. He neared the crystal clear water.
When he played with water, he tried to be extra careful whenever he does it since someone might catch him on the act. However, on that day, he got a little cocky. He didn't realize that two women walking down the path saw Gabriel manipulating the water.
One of the women backed off and screamed. Gabriel was caught off-guard and startled, so he fell into the water.
Oh no, Gabriel thought.
It took him some moments to get out of the water, grab his things, and get the heck our of there. He knew he was in trouble. The flabbergasted 12 year old started running as fast as he could.
"Get that monster!" One of the women screamed. The other younger girl sprinted. She held out her arms as he neared Gabriel. In what seemed like a blur, Gabriel tripped over a rock as the girl grabbed him.
"Game over, you freak!" she screamed as she pulled him by his bag. "Let go of me!" Gabriel demanded. "Why should I?" the girl replied. "The government is chasing you freaks! If I catch one of you I will be rich! There's a reward!" she gasped as Gabriel continued to squirm.
Gabriel, now angry, used his hydrokinesis to distract the girl. He made a pair of water hands. He closed his eyes, and imagined the hands grabbing the girl's arms and pulling them away from him. As the sequence finished, he sprinted with all he can.
As he pulled farther from the park, his running slowed. He stopped to take a breather. Gabriel, worried and fearful, used his last remaining strength to get to their house. The government? Chasing after people like me? But why... He thought. Before he could open the door, his vision blacked out and he fell to the floor.
Character 1 (Super)
Young Supers Form:
Gender: Male Crush/BF/GF: Eh...I'm open (to both Villian, hero and SGOs. I'm fine with any), I'll probably decide who later in the RP
As The RP Progresses will your character be a Hero or a Villian?: Villian
Weaknesses: As powerful as Zero's technique is, to counter it you need to predict what his next move will be in the next fraction of a second. He cant excessively use time-leap as the more he uses it in succession the more of his ki (energy) it requires, thus he usually ends kills quick by striking vital organs to avoid using Time-Leap excessively. Zero's technique makes him insanely strong in a 1v1 fight, as it doesn't require him to use Time-Leap as much, this makes him vulnerable to large numbers of foes.
Powers Limitions: (Just two will do or one) Not sure what this exactly means, same as Weaknesses I guess.
Anything Else: Zero's parents were assassinated by hitmen sent by the SGO, fighting against the SGO for equal rights for all the supers in world. His younger sister was taken by the SGO under suspicion of being a Super, she was killed during her trial. For years nothing but hatred and vengeance brewed in Zero's heart. He then became a private assassin himself, to get his revenge on the SGO, he charges high prices for the thugs, organizations, and Kingpins who hire him...but he kills SGO members for free.
Special Government Officials Form:
Weaknesses: Women, Being stubborn due to his wealth
Weapons He/She Uses To Catch Supers: Various Pistols, specializes in snipers, and zappers. Is using his wealth to develop new gun technology to catch supers.
Anything Else: German heritage, lives in a castle in the middle of a lake
((I'm assuming I have to wait for you to add me to the list before I begin RPing. If so, let me know when you've done so. Coz on my phone everyone's posts look like a pile of mess, no offense, it's probably an issue on my end, so it's hard to tell if you've added me or not))
((Ay, posts all messed up? That must suck :/ On the bright side, I'm glad to see you've joined))
Karen followed the bus all the way though town. But it was so slow! She did in mind waiting for supers to get out of school. But slow drivers and busy pestadians! She hated them, it was her biggest pet peeve. But she had to follow the super.
The bus finally came to a stop right by a bug appartment. A girl walked out. She held out her picture, it was a match. She quickly parked the van on the street, and stepped out of the car. "Wait!" She yelled at the young girl. Then she pretend to trip. She hit the ground with a rather loud sound. "Ow!" She seamed in 'pain'. "Young girl, could you please help me up? I think I sprang my leg!"
Emilya continued she walk down some stairs. She felt that she was below ground now. She would have to back track. She didn't think that ten who'll had a basement but apparently it did. Her plan wouldn't work if the bomb exploded below the school. She needed it to be app ground level at the center of the school. She walked back up the stairs and ran into a teenage boy. "Why are you following me?" She asked him.
"Why aren't you in school? Your about the same age as I am. And to answer that next question of yours this is a cheeseburger. I was hungry. And I am also have a bathroom pass." She pulled out a piece of paper that said bathroom pass on it and had a signature on it. The signature was Mr.Bruceman.
She came prepared for these kind of things. She looked at the boy with a stare.
"Oh thank you dear." She accepted the hand a pulled herself up. "Ow!" She prepend like her leg was broken and fell to the ground again. "I need to lay down."
Double post. Opps
He asked her another question. "Actually no told me this was an off limits zone. And I got lost. I'm new. And if you know this was an off limits zone, why did you follow me?"
"Oh thank you dear." She told the girl. Aki toke out her phone and started to call an ambulance. She only had a few moments. She quickly fiddled out her blow gun and took aim of Aki and blew.
The first thing Gabriel saw when he recovered was his mother. She had black hair and solemn blue eyes. She had brought Gabriel to the hospital when he saw him unconscious at the front porch.
His mother hugged him when he opened his eyes. "How are you feeling, dear?" she asked. "I feel... okay," he replied as the doctor went inside the bright room.
"Fortunately, Gabriel Whittaker will be discharged shortly. He only suffered from mental shock and fatigue after running for a very long disctance," he explained. Gabriel's mother thanked the doctor as he nodded in reply.
After a few hours, they arrived home. Gabriel was dismayed for his mom had to go back to work immedietely. He understood. He stayed home for the day.
To kill some time, he decided to get up and tend to the garden again.
The flowers danced as the cool breeze blew, as if they were greeting him "good afternoon." He smiled as the colorful petals gleamed as the orange sun set fire on them. After sitting down on his personal bench, he became impatient. He went over to a clearing in the garden. He had planted some gardenias there, and he can't wait to see them grow. So, why don't he just make them?
He sat down in front of the clear patch. He closed his eyes and put his hands together. As another minute passed by, the seeds have sprouted. Within three minutes, the gardenia plants can be seen in full bloom. After another cool wind surged over Gabriel, he opened his eyes. The gardenia flowers beamed at his face. He giggled.
He stood up once again. The sun is now setting in the horizon, the sun's rays weaving golden threads in the purple sky. He went back inside.
It was early in the morning and the day was wet and miserable, the sky obscured with dark rain clouds. Even the streets were lifeless, each one colorless. Zero had his hands placed inside his pocket as he looked towards the city. He walked down the streets with emotionless face as he approached his destination. A young homeless boy clothed in rags approached him from a dark alley begging for money. Zero disregarded him, as he continued walking without even turning to face the boy. Zero arrived at a large building which towered over a majority of the others in this city, there were large gates with two well dressed guards carrying assault rifles stood on either end. Using his signature technique 'Tokitobashi', he stopped all of time to him the world appeared to be nothing but shattered glass, aqua in color and with all life motionless as he walked right through the gates. During the Tokitobashi state Zero becomes several times faster than in reality and thus can move a lot in short duration of less than a second.
((This is what everything looks like for Zero when he stops time, ignore the purple guy in the middle, the background is how everything looks.))
Zero passed right through the main reception area without a trace, entering the elevator which would take him to the top floor, there sat his target.
The guards which were protecting the kingpin of this city looked at the elevator numbers go up, "Thats strange, was someone supposed to be meeting boss today?" One of the thugs said.
"No, I don't think so"
"Well if not then lets just shoot 'em down" another thug suggested.
The Kingpin sat expectantly waiting for their unknown guest to arrive. But as the Elevator doors opened there was no body stood in there.
At the instant Zero stopped time once more and approached the Kingpin, he unfroze time for the Kingpin alone, his body guards were still frozen. "I've been hired to kill you" Zero said, his face still looking emotionless and his hands still slid into his pocket.
"Hired? By who?" The Kingpin said, terrified. "What are you waiting for, SHOOT HIM!" He ordered to his guards.
"They cant hear you, time has been frozen for all, except me and you" Zero explained.
"W-Wait, I can give you anything, Money, How much, I'll pay anything! Please" The Gang Leader pleaded.
"You can pay me, with your life" Zero said. Instantly the Gang Leader was dead, Zero moved too quick for him to react. As time unfroze, Zero'd disappeared. A purple beam of energy burst of of the Kingpins body on the opposite side of the heart. The guards looked in shock as their boss mysteriously fell to the floor dead and receiving a shock through his heart.
((This is what the purple beam looks like whenever Zero attacks, a quick beam of purple particles emit through the opposite end of the body where struck))
Zero walked down the streets of the miserable city after killing his target as if nothing had happened. He went towards a hallway of Graveyards and hung a piece of jewelry worn by the Gang Leader on a tombstone as proof of his assassination. "He's dead" Zero confirmed to an anonymous client.
"Good, Good, Your payment with be deposited shortly" The anonymous client said.
Zero closed his device which creates a hologram of the target and placed it inside his pocket. Zero closed his eyes and walked on to a tram "...Next Target-" He said coldly, climbing on board and taking a seat. He crossed his arms and shut his eyes as he waited to approach his destination. The journey took about 2 hours. Once he'd arrived he walked out into a much nicer environment. The sky here was far more clear, and air much more clean. But Zero never wastes time, he immediately headed to assassinate his next assigned target. Along the way, he saw a girl quickening her pace away from a superstore.
"There she is, Get her!" He heard, ordinarily Zero would ignore such a situation and leave the girls fate to her. But Zero suddenly gained interest once he saw several SGO vehicles heading towards his direction in hurry. They were most likely targeting the girl, they wouldn't need that many vehicles if this girl was ordinary. She must've been another Super, not that Zero cared about that, he was more into killing a large number of SGOs.
"Hmph", Zero stepped in front of the girls way, blocking her with his arm. "Why are you running? The SGO are nothing but a bunch of bullies! You wont be able to run forever you know! Fight them!" Zero provoked, smirking. A grin widening as the vehicles came closer and closer.
Inaho observed the girl to see how she would respond.
((I don't mind, I don't really have anything to do at the moment. So, I suppose so))
"I hope you don't blow up the school with that," after finishing that sentence, the young boy pulled out a pistol. She quickly teleported to the other side of the room. Yes she used her powers, but it didn't matter, he was going to take her now away.
"And for conern, it's up to you to find out." She turned into a prygenine falcon, the fastest animal in the world, and flew up the flight of stairs. She hoped she lost the boy, but there was no way of knowing. While flying up, she felt the temperature change. It was now warmer, which ment that she was above ground. She flew another 6 feet to make sure she was animal head of the boy. She transformed back into her human form and ignited the bomb. She threw it into a corner. The boy was either going to have to chose between the school or her. He looked like the nerdy type so he'd probably go for the school. Which left her more time to escape. She turned back into a prygenine falcon and flew out of the school.
Thoughts already were escaping her mind. Her idenaty was revealed again so she would have to change her name, dye her hair, and move to a new city. She first off had to get to a store to bye some hair coloring, she needed a store nearby. Where else to go but Walmart?
She shot hadn't beenbeenbeen been good enough, she missed. She quickly got up and started running after the gjrl. She was now used to running in heels. She needed to be good at it if she wanted this job. At this was her test. She had to keep up with the girl. Even if she had to blast other people in the process. This girl was her paycheck.
((Just so you know, the Peregrine Falcon isn't the fastest animal in the world in the context you used it's speed for. It's only the undisputed fastest when it dive bombs. I'm not going to make a fuss since it's an RP and anything can happen, but just so you know))
((True, thanks for the knowledge. But I think it's still faster than a human running up flights of stairs.))
make sure she was animal head of the boy.
Animal head? Kinda confused XD
A mile ahead? Or simply just ahead? Clarification please lol
((Whoops, spellcheck. Er. It was supposed to be ahead of the boy. And was what I wrote okay?))
Yeah, that was the only problem I had.
((Sorry that I haven't posted for a few days))
Lucy was splayed across the park bench, her legs resting against the arm top. In her hands was a small book; it was one of Terry Pratchett's works. She enjoyed fantasy.
Directly across from her was a kiddie's playground. Whilst it normally fostered a horde of loud and irritating children, today it was almost empty, likely due to the carnival that was going on. Lucy liked it better this way; occasionally people would try to talk to her, and she felt bad ignoring them.
Of course, today was an exception. She did not, in fact, feel bad at all for ignoring the latest nuisance who had tried to talk to her.
Eventually they gave up, and walked away after spitting several profanities in her direction. The person's name was Eve, and Lucy was incredibly opinionated about her. From the sounds of it, Eve felt the same way.
"She just sits there, reading her stupid book. Hasn't she ever heard of friends?" Eve not-so-tactfully asked Chloe as she walked towards her.
Ah, yes, there we go. They were even glancing over at Lucy to see if they would get a reaction.
Lucy swung her legs around and stood up, closing her book around her thumb to keep track of her page. Not even bothering to say anything, she flipped them both off with her free hand as she began to walk away.
Behind her, she could hear their startled shrieks as Eve mysteriously fell over, dragging Chloe down with her. There was something so incredibly satisfying about pushing them over after they had been so annoying.
((sorry for not posting until now. I've been sick and have had bad anxiety this past week so I haven't really felt in the mood to write until now.))
Reid yawned widely as he shuffled out of his bedroom, having just woken up. It was still fairly early, but the teen didn't have school that day so he had slept in later than usual. Not that he was going to complain. Reid gazed half-mindedly out from the floor-to-ceiling windows of his apartment, noting that the day was quite wet and dreary. Though not raining at that moment, the heavy gray clouds looked as if they would likely break open at some point in the day and shower the city with rain.
The boy stretched his arms high above his head as he made his way towards the kitchen, passing by a shiny grand piano along the way. Reid's mouth opened once more to let out another yawn, and he ran his fingers through his already disheveled bedhead, bicolored locks spiking out in all different directions on top of his head.
Reid opened the refrigerator door, glancing in to see what food was sitting on the shelves within, though there weren't many items inside: enough milk for perhaps slightly less than a full glass, a few eggs, various condiment bottles, leftover Chinese takeout, and a half eaten can of peaches with plastic wrap haphazardly thrown over the top. Not feeling much in the mood for one of the few options, Reid sighed, deciding to go shopping for food after eating a bite of breakfast. Even though Reid lived with his father, the latter of the two was often away on business which left Reid to be the one to usually restock the fridge when needed.
The silver eyed boy grabbed the nearly empty milk carton, taking a swig straight from the top before rustling through the cabinets, finally ceasing his search when locating a granola bar. Reid swiftly ate and drank his quick breakfast, disgarding the empty granola wrapper and skim milk carton in the garbage bin once finished and then making his way towards his room to throw on some clothes and half attempted to make his bed.
Pulling a hood.ie over his head, Reid walked into the bathroom connected to his room to wash his face, brush his teeth and drop his contacts in before he got to work on his hair, the thing that always took him the most time to work on in the morning. Reid styled and tousled the black and blonde strands until he was content with their appearance, shoving aside his comb and styling products, he shot himself a crooked smile in the mirror and headed back into his room to grab his phone, headphones, wallet and keys from his desk.
Humming to himself, Reid left his room and made his way across the spacious flat towards the front door. He glanced around, catching sight of a small compact umbrella and snatching it up, lest he might need it if it did begin to rain while he was out.
Reid shoved the umbrella into his pocket and exited his apartment, stepping into an empty elevator and taking it down to the first floor. He strolled through the lobby, nodding familiarly to the doorman before exiting the buildings front doors and stepping outside.
Reid was glad he opted to wear a sweater, for a slight chill met him due to the damp weather. Pulling his phone out to scroll through his playlists, Reid began walking down the crowded streets, only looking up when a girl ran by him in the direction he was headed, though at a slower pace, towards. He briefly raised an eyebrow but didn't pay much mind.
He had been walking for a few minutes when he suddenly heard a distant shout; "There she is, get her!" Reid glanced around, but didn't stop walking until he noticed a SGO vehicle driving around the corner ahead of him, the direction he had been walking towards. Reid froze in his tracks, a chill running through him that had nothing to do with the cool weather. After several moments, Reid forced himself to move again, pretending to be paying attention to the screen of his phone as he switched his direction slightly, now walking towards the park, all thoughts of what to buy for dinner pushed to the back of his mind now.
Zero sighed as the girl refused to fight, "Very well, you leave me no choice" Zero said, stopping time and moving back in front of the girl who assumed she'd gotten past Zero. Unfreezing time and calling out to the SGO "Hey! Hurry! She's getting away!" Zero urged, grabbing the girl's wrist.
"Now is our chance! Hurry! Civilian get away from her, she's dangerous" The SGO on foot who were running pleaded as they seized the opportunity to strike.
"Forgive me" Zero whispered to the girl. He froze time once more and moved the girl by positioning her as if she was entering the alley. He unfroze time for a short duration making it appear she ran down the alley. "Quick, she's went down the alley", Just after he said that he froze time once again and hid the Girl behind a wall in someone's garden nearby. Zero then ran into the alley and waited for the SGO. His breathing began to increase as he was beginning to consume more and more energy by using time-leap so close to each other. As the first SGO member entered the alley he was immediately struck down by Zero, a burst of purple particles firing through his forehead he lay on the ground of the alley lifeless. As the second approached, her gun was ready, but she immediately ran to tend to her fallen comrade, she was then killed by being struck from behind as she'd lowered her guard. As the third entered he was smashed against a wall with a roundhouse kick just below the mans ribcage. He left all three SGO members in the alley to rot, Zero began panting heavily as he'd used Tokitobashi far too much than what the technique was intended for. He then looked in the distance, the vehicles were about half a minute away. He quickly ran to the girl "We best get out of here quick, otherwise we wont last very long" Looking back at the approaching vehicles. Zero was already rather exhausted from using Tokitobashi to bait the SGO members and taking out the three members. He had no where near the required amount of energy to take on the horde of SGO members which will be brought in with the vehicles, and it's not like this girls was going to help either. "I'll get us out of here" Zero said coldly. He gripped the girl's hand and used time-leap once more, making a break for it. Once time-leap was over the brought the two of them to hide in an abandoned factory. Zero began sweating profusely, he was panting for air as if he were a dog, out of exhaustion of excessive use of Tokitobashi he crashed his back against the wall and slid down it and ended up sitting on the floor. "Forgive me for blocking you earlier, I simply needed to lure in those members, I specialize in fighting isolated targets you see" Zero explained emotionlessly, taking breaths between every word or two.
(Sorry about not posting, but I was waiting for Mango to post but guess I'll just post me reply now)
Beatrice felt herself being dragged of and put into some compartment. The space seemed small and empty, except for a bowl of water and a plate with a piece of bread, meat, and a small piece of cheese.
Being very tired out from the fight that she lost, she quickly crawled over to the plate and ate the food. It was pretty bad, and she didn't understand why. She hadn't ever hurt anyone, well, mostly, in school a couple times she got pretty mad and began fighting, but she never hurt anyone in a serious way. Why now?
((Fairy? DId I miss something? What happeed? I was looking for u or Mago...))
(Um, I don't think you missed anything , I just posted to move things along. Have you seen mango? Because I haven't )
Walking down one of the main streets, Gabriel shivered as a cold breeze blew. He realized it's going to rain soon, looking up at the dark, overcast sky.
He heard some fighting in the next street, so he turned a corner and took a peek. He didn't see anything, but a few vans stopped in a disorganized way. Maybe it's an ambulance? He thought, as he crossed the street quickly. There was a bakery just across the street.
He decided he'd buy bread and go back home, as it was getting pretty dark. He went inside the brightly lit bakery. Gabriel saw tons of potted plants inside, along with porcelain tables and metal chairs with intricate designs. The cashier greeted him.
He nodded as he pointed to the vanilla cocoa bread just beside him. He paid for the bread before he went outside.
Gabriel took a few steps before a heavy downpour began. He ran back inside the bakery as he grabbed the umbrella he had inside his bag. He ran back outside as he opened his umbrella. He plowed through the miserable city, walking with a fast pace. He passed a couple of alleys.
Finding a bus stop, Gabriel sat down to finish the bread he bought. He moved his hand inside the bag for a few minutes before feeling the plastic packaging. He moved his hand out of the bag. The bread still warm and soft. He opened the pack and ate the bread with small nibbles.
The rain had poured even harder in the last few minutes. Gabriel could be stuck there for a few hours since the rain isn't giving any sign of stopping anytime soon. The wind started to pick up, too.
He grabbed his cellphone and dialed his mom. His mom picked up.
"Hello? Gabriel?" she answered. "Mom, it's raining really hard. Can you please pick me up here at the bus stop in 42nd Avenue?" Gabriel asked. "I'm sorry, dear," Ms. Whittaker replied, "but you might have to take the bus. Didn't I tell you I am on a business trip and am not going home until tomorrow evening?" she continued.
"Ok, mom, thanks anyways. Take care," Gabriel bid goodbye. "I love you, son, see you tomorrow!" Ms. Whittaker replied.
Gabriel patiently waited, but he saw no buses on that route. He waited, but he realized that, because of the SGO incident earlier in the day, the buses took a detour to avoid the site.
She wander the Walmart store for a little while. No good SGO would capture a super in a public area. That wasn't a hard fact. She finally ran into the hair color isle. Her current hair color was back so she needed to get something different. She reached out and chose a light blonde, the fare st color she could get to. She also needed some new clothing. She walked over to the women's department and picked out a demin jacket with a purple scarf. To go with that, she chose some black yoga pants. She figured that those were the fares she could get. She had already started thinking about new mp names for herself. She was thinking along the lines of Patrisha or Alyssa.
She made it over to the cashier and put the items on the thing. "Did you find everything you were looking for for today?" He asked.
"Yeah, thanks for asking." She responded. He rang up the items one by one. The price kept jumping up. She didn't expect it to go up that fast though.
"And the total comes to $47.48." He said. Emilya fiddled to get out a fifty dollar bill. She finally found it and handed to the man. "Here's your change." She handed her 2 dollars and something amount of change. She picked up her bag and headed out of the store. She walked up to the old willow tree and watched the sky. This was probably going to be the last time she saw this place. She took one last look and d turned into a raven and flew off.
Emilya finally reached the next place she was staying, Fergus Falls, Minnesota. It seemed like a quiet little town. It even had a Walmart store, and a Target, too. BuT she had to find someplace to stay. She decided to stay at American Inn for the first night. She then dyed her hair blonde and changed into her new clothes. She payed the cashier in paper money again. She alwayed used paper money to butpy anything. That way, no one could track her down with credit cards. She also told the man that her name was Alyssa Milano. That was going to be her new name.
The moon began to rise and she settled down into bed for the night. She heard owls hoot in the backround. In was also the middle of winter and it was -27 degrees. But inside the hotel, it was nice and warm. She reminded herself to buy a winter coat in the morning.
((I post Karen tomorrow but I'm going to head to bed now. See ya later.))
"Yeah, I saw that. Good thing I didn't help you.. like come on. Was that even necessary to kill them? You could of.. I don't know.. knocked them out" The girl stated.
Zero didn't speak for a while "Hmph! How naive. When assassin duels, the target isn't left alive, no assassin fights without killing their victim. Secondly, all my techniques are killing techniques, theres nothing less punishing I could've used. And lastly, it's either you kill them or they kill you, it's that simple" Zero explained, still exhausted, leaning his head back against the wall. The girl bent down grabbing a cloth and used her powers to create Ice cubes, she placed the ice cubes on the cloth and offered it Zero. "A Cryokinetic (Someone who can manipulate Ice), not bad, That actually may have been very useful you know, I may have been able to take out the vehicles had you froze them in their tracks" Zero said, slightly annoyed now that he realized her powers would've been of use after all. He grabbed the cloth with ice and placed it on his forehead. A sound of relief came as it was placed "You have my thanks" Zero said, suddenly the sound of a pebble near his feet could be heard. Zero opened one eye and saw a blonde girl ask them something.
"The world turned it's back on me year ago" Zero mumbled, clenching his fist. He slowly stood up as he got his breath back. Sliding his hands into his pockets, he turned his head to the darker haired girl "Do you have a family here? If so, take me to them" Zero demanded in a forceful tone.
(Sorry for not posting latly, I was trying to decide if Doon would drop the tranquilizer. I tend to overthink things. That and my computer has a eye patch shaped dead spot.)
Doon walked into the girl's room. The girl looked upset, which bothered Doon. Out of pitty, Doon offered her a blanket. "Here," she said,"This is just my little housewarming present." Doon left the room, being sure to lock the door.
Gabriel notices the teenager walking towards him. As he pulled out a pistol with a tranquilizer dart, Gabriel grabbed his bag and closed his eyes. As the boy shot the dart, Gabriel ran into the rain towards the opposite direction of the boy.
Gabriel was a fast runner. He covered a hundred meters in ten seconds. He flailed his arms around and started to manipulate the water. The rainwater turned into blades hovering just behind Gabriel, ready to fire at the teenager, who seems like a member of the SGO.
"Leave me alone!" he yelled, as more and more rainwater turned into sharp blades behind him, a skill that requires concentration. "I don't wanna hurt you!"
