I was really impressed that a hybrid leaked on the internet, with that look, and no one came to comment on the forum yet. I just found this fact interesting XD
Oh my god... That dragon looks amazing... My brother will be stoked! He loves Bewilderbeasts/Chimeragons! That looks epic... I would totally pick this one up... It appears to be for the Snoggletog event. Here's hoping.

AAAAAAAA That's SO cute!! I adore it!! It's kinda weird (in a good way), but i adore it! Such a peculiar dragon! It also seems to be coming along with the winter update. I wonder, willl this lil' guy be an event dragon like others, a purchasable dragon from the store, or might it come along with an awaited new expansion pack that we have been waiting for 1+ years? Ahh i'm so curious! Can't wait!
Honestly it's controversial, in my opinion. There might be people who really dislike it, but also people who love it, so no, don't worry, you're not crazy for liking it xD I honestly love it, it reminds me so much of a chibi and it's peculiar. It's a mini winged bewilderbeast, so it's basically our only possibility of owning this dragon (i mean it's similar but you get the picture haha), also really? A hidden world stable?? Sounds amazing!! I wonder if our dragons glow inside it(?), that would be awesome!

Does anyone notice the totally new looking areas in this very trailerlike video? I actually think this might be an expansion event hybrid rather then a normal event. Maybe that was even why the dreadfall one was so rushed. They were putting more effort into this. (I mean, I know this person could be a hacker but it's not like they could make those entire setpeaces right? Or maybe they're not new and they just look it to me because they're shot at different angles and it has been a long time since I've played the expansions)
Captain IS a hacker. He must have gotten his hands on the trailer for the event.
And I am pretty sure it is an event. For a few reasons. The new "area" featured in the trailer is Loki's Maze. They did exactly the same thing in the Dreadfall event. Trailer and all.
Secondly, trailers for expansions almost always have an over dramatic narrator AND teasers are dropped well in advance prior to the trailer.
You're probubly right. I do have to wonder where it's sleeping and nesting in those scenes though. Is that some part of glacier island or icestorm island that I don't recognize? Where is that? Also, is that part of impossible island at one part? I know they fly over it but it also looks like some of it was shot in the place where you get chased by a ball A La Indiana Jones style.
Will the event quests have to do with impossible island I wonder or did they just use that as a backdrop because it's all mysterious and stuff?
Will part of the maze be based on that bit and the dragon was able to go in there because it's possibly a leaked before it's ready trailer made by the devs?
I recognize the nest as Icestorm Island's Groncicle nest. They may be reusing it. I hope it's an expansion and not an event...but it's probably another event... :( Also I'm just curious...how big will this dragon be? Or is this truly it's real size because man I thought the NL heads were big but THIS GUY...! He takes the cake!
According to LPS100's models she shared on discord, the dragon will be about the size of the in-game Crimson Goregutter, if not a little larger.
The perportions are deciving then. It certainly LOOKS smaller then that when you're just looking at it without a viking to compare it to.
The groncicle nest didn't look so blue did it? Though that person is clearly a very talented SOD hacker after having watched a few more videos to see who this person is. I wouldn't doubt it if they knew how to change the tint. It's a shame that talent is waisted on hacking a multiplayer game.
I'd laugh my head off if that guy actually works for a tech company. XD
It appears that there might be new weapons, too! They look quite ornate, I'm interested in their stats :D

I deffinitly prefer the origanal Chimeragon's design over this one's. Mostly because I am not quite as keen on bewilderbeasts. However, I do like SOD's version. The frills almost make it look feathered. I will deffinitly be making an attempt to get this.
Oh this looks like it touches two of own my headcanon!(1. Chimeragon not a name for specific species but rather a name for dragons that has more than two combination of a hybrid so not every Chimeragon will look like Patch from the spin off game 2. There are smaller ridable bewildeebeast although i call them Pygmybeast)
I personally not a fan of the long face, but the over all body shape ans silhouette especially when flying is Fantastic! They do look kinda like Screaming Death arent it? With the head:body porpotion
Also seemed like SOD might get off from Titan uprising Dragon train, for now
I love everything about this design and am super happy that over the last week (thanks to dreadfall candy collecting ending a week earlier than I expected) I've been prepping for Snoggletog/Christmas. Now to prep the harder, I WANT THAT DRAGON. When it comes out in the store I'm going to get more, it I can.

I have to admit, this might be the first Seasonal Event I'm actually anticipating after a long time. I don't even care if there's said to be an egg that'll be released afterwards, I'd love to train this dragon ASAP.
However, there's a strange feeling about this event as a whole, and I don't mean it on the positive manner...
I was wondering exactly what kind of dragon this was supposed to be a hybrid of, since it was called a chimeragon in the video itself but did not resmble the one for Dawn of the New Riders. Thankfully, in the comments section underneath, the one who made the video said it is actually a cross between a chimeragon and a bewilderbeast! That will be very interesting to see, and I will definitely be preparing for this event!

hmmm..... it's great to think positively. But it's hard to think about all the possible bugs that may appear. (I mean I can't predict what kinds of bugs there would be.)
Because Dreadfall ended so quickly and I didn't even reach the flightmare flightsuit, I have to assume the Chimeragon will fly by as well.
Anyway guys, brace yourselves! Our Viking bodies have warmed up hopefully from Dreadfall already, and now I am aiming for whatever stable there will be and the Snoggletog weapons. AND THE MAZE. Ima search for more spoilers so I can think as hard as possible like a pro. Avoid the frostbite, avoid the bugs. It's time for me to mount my Woolly Howl for Snoggletog! *cough cough*.. aside from the fact that I don't seem ready since my farm and dragons still have Dreadfall paint and I have real school and creepy parent eyes looking at my screen...
