Like I said in an earlier topic, I am creating a dragon. I am now on to the rigging and animating process. I need help, and FAST. I need to know how to rig and animate and link these objects to make realistic dragon flight. I have cones, capsules, and splines. Whenever I rotate or bend the dragons wing arms, the membranes disconnect from the wing bones and I dont know how to stop that from happening. Please help, FAST!!!!!

I've never use 3dmax and only

I've never use 3dmax and only used Maya so I'm not sure if the solution is the same, from what you've describe it seems that you may haven't constaint parent the bone to the object yet or if you move the object/surface/points  instead of the bone(NEVER DO THAT!!) Of course I can't say for sure being on different program and not sure what happened yet.

my biggest advice is that youtube is a great teacher and you can search for tutorial there.

I don't know, I have never

I don't know, I have never done that before, like I said I'm not the best person to ask, it's a different programm and more importantly I got a D in that class. It might work, it might make the job easier but I can't say for sure.

The normal way, the way I do it is to paint weight, moving the rig into the different pose and paint the weight on that weird stuff until everything feel right, you know the black and white stuff...do 3d max have that?
