"Cool! It's looks like we are

"Cool! It's looks like we are going to be friends!" The boy grinned. It's both blessing and not for Myr part because Doug did kind of let the conversation hang enough for her to have an opening to ignore him after.

Myr closed her eyes with a groan, recognizing her mistake too late. She should have just ignored the boy in the first place. Now she was stuck with this overenthusiastic puppy of a kid, especially since they seemed to be in the same group for the tour.

((I was just mostly joking about that. That meme though make sme laugh everytie I read it XDDD And I hadn't read everyone else's forms before plopping in Sauren's illegal hobbies, so you got me there, Wolf XDD And I totally that internat sarcasm is definitely the hardest thing about the internet :/

@Moonfyre, I narrate Sauren's/my characters' thoughts for dramatic irony and effect, but I will describe or mention when those thoughts are shown on faces, acted on, others are able to detect them, etc. We in the illegal league have to be quick of mind and fast of foot, eh? ;D))

"Jeez. Get a room." A small utterance from Maikela. Was she jealous? Or just annoying? Quite possibly both, Sauren concluded. Maikela departed their small group to gather around the Pisces administrator. As she stepped, Sauren created a little rock-size bubble of raised gravity just as Maikela raised her foot for another step.

A little fun here and there doesn't hurt, Sauren admitted to herself, leaving Myr to deal with the bouncy cinnamon boy.

Sauren edged closer to the group, drifting near the perimeter of bodies, her ears perked for any interesting blackmail.

Maikela took another step, yelping quietly when her foot snagged on some invisible item. She quickly caught herself with her free foot before. Sighing, Maikela did not even bother to glare at Sauren.. The scorpio had already demontrated her skullful manipulation of gravity, there could be no other candiate. Maikela was about to let it go, when she suddenly recalled the comment from Luca earlier.

"You think she ever gets dizzy when she does that?"

"I'd imagine she'd get used to it after a while."

Smirking, Maikela decided to test the theory. She casually flicked her wrist, casting a sublte illusion over the Sauren's eyes thet caused the world to appear to be waving in and out, tunneling and spinning to simulate a nasty case of vertigo.

And then she moved on, pretending as though nothing had happened.

((If Maikela, Sauren, and Myr become great friends... I'm calling them the fury sisters... XD idk why... just kinda reminds me of them XD))

Luca watched the three interact from his spot, quickly going around the three girls to end at Kalden's side. Still watching the three as they started to make their way over. Maikela tripping on something he couldn't see, and an odd look radiated off of her shortly after. Perhaps a power was used? Looking over to the other girl he noticed the human embodiment of a puppy introduce himself and tried to start up a conversation. All of this scene earned a small smile from Luca.

"Oi.. you notice the huge cat fight that went on?" He spoke under his breath to Kalden, his eyes focused on Riya with crossed arms.

"Oi... you notice the huge catfight that went on?" Luca's voice quietly asked, the Sagittarius having moved to Kalden's side during the commotion between the three competitive girls.

"How could I miss it," Kalden responded, just as soft a tone. The powers the girls were exhibiting were amazing, but the reasons for doing so seemed rather pointless in the Virgo's eyes. He believed more in practical means when it came to ability use. "I don't think I've witnessed such grandstanding in a long time."

"The emotions flying off from you twelve is astronomical," Riya announced, frowning while rubbing her temples in response to the antics of her tour group of twelve. "We're going to get behind at this point. Choose to follow, or don't, just try not to blow each other up along the way." Riya turned on heel and began walking towards an archway Kalden hadn't yet been through. Kalden glanced at Luca with a small shrug before choosing to follow the Pisces.

((Yessss we must XDDDDD But first drama XDDD))

Her vision suddenly looped into a tunnel, drawing her in, calling her name, stronger than ever before. She bit down, clenching her jaw, as the vertigo ripped at her stomach. Sauren sucked in a breath, infusing ginger into her bloodstream, calming her stomach. And just like that, the vortex was gone, rippling into her periphereal, pinpointing Maikela as the perpetrator. Sauren snorted, infusing a whiff of hemlock up Maikela's nose. Not a deadly dose, mind you, but enough to wrinkle one's nose at the disgusting smell.

Sauren wordlessly followed Riya, sighing because she had another boring tour and lecture combo to walk though.

A quiet chuckle left Luca at Kalden's comment, giving the adult a fake gaze as she spoke then began to follow her as she turned to walk.

'I mean... I already know the school. I don't technically have to... but..' he glanced over to the two girls.

'Drama is always enticing' he thought.

Trying to ignore Doug’s babbling beside her, Myr focused on the others again. Just in time to watch Maikela do a very uncharacteristic stumbling step. It seemed as if her foot was momentarily glued to the ground, which made her guess Sauren was responsible.

Recomposing herself, Maikela gave a delicate flick of her wrist and Sauren staggered, turning a distinct shade of green and seeming to experience acute nausea. The Scorpio closed her eyes, apparently doing something to steady herself. Myr supposed that with all her floor-tilting, she must have experience countering vertigo and similar problems.

Myr grinned as she watched the two pester each other. She followed the tour, deciding the silent war between Maikela and Sauren provided enough entertainment for her to put up with the human chatterbox next to her.

A foul stench generated under Maikela's nose, a dank musty odor that she could only describe as mouse uri.ne ((why is this censored? Its significantly more appropriate than the alternative))
Sighing inwardly, Maikela followed the rest of the group. She did not acknowledge the odours at all, did not even wrinkle her nose. Her face remained a stony mask of indifference as she tilted her head, listening to what the Pisces administrator had to say. She was currently complaining about their emotions being on the fritz. Maikela tilted her head. She had always been jealous of the empath Pisces. Not that she would ever give up her illusions. However, she recognized the full potential of the power.

If one could manipulate and induce emotions into others, one could maintain a basic level of mind control over the target. With a single touch, the empath could render her target madly and hopelessly in love with her, to the point where a dependency was constructed as the target's mind grew addicted to the dopamine and oxytocin that flooded its brain ways. This dependency would allow the empath to control their every move with a simple suggestion and the drug-addled brain would likely do anything and everything to get its next hit and please the object of its affections.
Conversely, an empath could remove all emotion and feeling from themselves or others, creating effective, relentless war machines. Or monitor the levels of adrenaline in the system, flooding their own bodies with the chemical to increase strength, speed, and stamina. Maikela had heard stories of adrenaline-hyped mothers lifting massive telephone poles up from the ground to protect their children.

Truly, the possibilities were endless. And generating a loyal and absolute devout following would be incredibly easier as an Empath. An army willing to do anything, even kill for their queen.

Maikela found herself grinning in a twisted manner as she observed her fellow pisces. Indeed. Empath was an underrated and extremely powerful ability that those whom possessed it were never intelligent enough to unlock its full potential

((so I'll just continue and act like everyone is coming even if they didn't post, lol))

Slowly the group started to follow Riya's brisk pace through the gate. Kalden briefly glanced around. It seemed all twelve people were coming along, including a few he hadn't been sure would comply. He shortly regarded the signs he hadn't yet met. Kalden was able to recognize an Aquarius and Cancer together. The Aries he had seen earlier seemed to be walking at Myr's side, which he thought to be an interesting duo. There even appeared to be a Gemini, Leo, and Libra, if he was guessing correctly, all walking separately. He had never even met some House signs, let alone been in a group of so many at once. The Virgo wondered if this was a coincidence or if they split groups up like this on purpose.

Kalden snapped out of his observations as Riya led them down a cobble path into garden that he realized was connected to this side of the central courtyard. Kalden wasn't well-versed in flora, being from a highly industrial and barren city where it was rare for anything to grow out of the cracks of the cliffside. Most crops were grown on the outskirt farms, on the grounded areas of the Virgo territory, and some wildflowers in the nearby fields. However, he did have an appreciation for the setup of the garden, and how different areas bloomed with a variety of flowers in dozens of different shapes, sizes, and colors all somehow making up a diverse but integrated arrangement. The Virgo assumed that there were flowers, trees, and ornaments from all different Houses, with a huge fountain resting in the center of the area. A huge stone figure of a goddess stood in the middle of the structure, carved from stone, depicting a beautiful woman with apparent drapes of material elegantly covering her body. Elegant swirling designs decorated the imitation of cloth. The craftsmanship was so delicate the folds seemed real, as if another layer atop the life-like features beneath, despite both being carved from the same piece of material. The outline of the pool showed an etching of each star sign in a stylistic fashion at each placement around the circle. Flower petals and a few types of aquatic flowers floated in the gently moving pool, a scattering of songbirds chittering in or around the water as they drank and bathed. Kalden only ripped his eyes away when Riya spoke.

"This is the Garden of Constellations," Riya said, splaying her arm out at the large display, smaller paths shooting off to less trodden areas, benches and hammocks sitting or hanging nearby. "I'd say this is most impressive to some Water and Earth signs, but there's temperate plants from every region here, so it's pretty popular amongst a lot of signs. The biggest draw is at night, when the bioluminescent plants glow. It's also one of the best places on the premises for stargazing, since the lights in this area are usually turned off at dark."

"Hmm, what else. Ah yes," Riya tapped her chin. "There are also some greenhouses in the southeast edge of the school. Those have the more difficult to care for plants, that need extreme heat, a freezing setting, or aquatic environments, and such. Some are hard to get permission to be allowed into, depending on the types of plants."

Tirali followed Riya and the rest of the students who'd stayed behind into a vast garden, filled with all kinds of plants and flowers. The centerpiece of the garden looked to be a huge fountain, surrounded by a stone ring with the twelve signs pictured on it and topped with a masterful carving of a goddess that almost seemed alive. Paths shot off into the greenery and disappeared among the waving leaves. "This is the Garden of Constellations," Riya said as she gestured around. She continued, explaining that the garden was most impressive at night and was probably the best place in the school for stargazing. She also mentioned some greenhouses to the southeast of the school containing the most delicate plants. Looking around again, Tirali saw a few plants she recognized, though most of them were unfamiliar. She glanced over at Kyra, wondering what her friend thought of the garden. She could hear faint sounds coming from her backpack and hoped Silverscale wasn't getting himself into too much trouble with Tanto.

Kyra followed Tirali and the others to the next location after the orientation. She was in awe when she saw the Garden of Constellations. They had some bioluminescent plants back at the greenhouse, but she was eager to see this place at night. The plants of course, were very welcoming to the new group admiring them. However, like with all plants, they had a few jerks among them. She glared at the rude plants and glanced at Tirali.

"Some of the plants are welcoming, but watch out for some of the poisonous ones. They're mostly jerks. Especially the Poison Oak growing in the medicinal and poisonous sections of the garden. Just make sure you don't touch the poison plants. They give you a rash something fierce." Kyra hissed to Tirali, Tanto hissing at a Venus Flytrap that was a little too big for his liking that snapped at him when his tail brushed against it.

"Hey, I saw that!" Kyra warned, glaring at the Flytrap.

"WHAT?! He touched me first! I got a right to eat lady! Wait, you're a Cancer, right? How come you can talk to plants?" The Flytrap snapped back, surprised that she could talk to him when she was clearly a water sign.

"Long story buddy, no time right now. But pets sometimes do that, so no eating them. Stick with pests, got it? Anything that has a collar or looks like it belongs to something is off limits, got it?" She warned the plant, giving it the stink eye.

"Yeah, yeah, I get it. No eating furry, scaly or anything that doesn't buzz. Sorry about that." The flytrap replied, backing off a little under her glare

((Everyone got pushed into the tour, so should technically be in the garden now Anic :P..))

Luca followed the group into a room he came to know well, instantly letting his head fall back to few the opening in the ceiling. Dropping his head back to the surrounding plants and actually taking in the lushes green leaves and colourful flora. Because although he knows the area well, he spent most of his time on the roof above, watching the bioluminescent plants create images as the night draws near. His eyes went back up to where he generally hangs out, hoping his little area that he made up there wasn't too noticable from down here. To his relief, no one could see him or Liberty from where they stood, or so he hoped. His attention was drawn towards the Cancer girl and the Aquarius girl discussing plant's personality, then watched as the dirty blonde began to scolding a flytrap for doing it's thing. He gave the girl a weird look before walking on, actually looking at the plants that surrounded them. Recognizing a few from his home, examining the crawling vines that ran up the walls and filled in the background for the rest of the houses plants to shine. The flowers that sprinkled in between the dark green leaves were deep purple or blue, and some almost appeared black. He knew the flowers best for their glowing blue or white pedals at night, still bright enough to be seen, but simple enough to still let others shine. A small smile creeped on his face as he noticed other plants that thrived in the shaded areas that grew around his home. He began looking at other forms of plants that he couldn't even guess the name of, then began wondering if anyone else recognized them.

Doug's interest and

Doug's interest and excitement remain the same height as the other plave when they reached the garden and Riya began her explaination. His interest perked slightly when he heard Kyra scolding someone, or something. He's a little confused again for not having a context of what the plant said but he remember vividly she mentioned being able to talk to plant so that must have been what she's doing. Doug didn't comment on the context he didn't know and instead settle with a light chuckle " Haha That's really weird" and move on.

Maikela Nix

Maikela boredly shuffled after the group, not paying much attention to whatever the teacher was blabbering about. The sheer dreariness tugged at the corners of eyes, but she refused to comply. Instead she maintained a perfectly kept and politely attentive façade.

The group entered a garden, and the pisces teacher continued to drone on about this and that. Maikela had to admit that it was a rather pretty garden, the sound if rubbing water having a serene effect on her psyche. However she was not all that invested in it, at least not like the girl who appeared ti be talking to plants for whatever reason. Plants did not even have brains. They communicated with each other using minute chemical reactions not words.

Shrugging the thought off, the candy haired heiress decided to go bother Sauren as an excuse to quell her bordem.

Picking up her pace, the short girl leaned her parasol to her shoulder, daintily opening it up to cast a shadow down upon her face. Tilting her head, she tracked down Sauren, falling into stride next to her. With a coy albeit playful smirk, Maikela assumed Sauren's face, her features changing to match the scorpio's while the test of her body stature and clothing remained the same. And despite all of this, she remained completely wordless, instead looking at her with an expression that roughly meant 'your turn' well. It was also equally plausible that it would mean 'please entertain me. I'm bored'.

Sauren followed the group, dragging behind. Maikela subtlely dettached herself from the others and matched her deliberate stride. She wasn't the least but surprised when Maikela's face shifted into a likeness of her own scowling face.

Wow. I really am as gorgeous as father says, Sauren thought wryly, eyeing Maikela.

Sauren had studied human behavior as her extracurricular subject during her schooling in Cancer. Those long, boring lectures and endless study hours were paying off. There were three options as to Maikela's actions. One, Maikela was flirting in an odd way. Two, the Pisces student was building rapport in an odd way. Or three, Maikela was bored and coping with it in an odd way by bugging Sauren. All three were likely. She considered breaking into an Ecstasy dance to see how Maikela would react to such wild and jaunty moves, which was highly unlikely. But as fun as that would be, it would be slightly more undignified. What happens in the desert stays in the desert.

The lilting smile Maikela sent Sauren's way was highly suggestive of something, a fact Sauren was tempted to intentionally misinterpret.

Sauren's lips twisted into a smirk as she side-eyed Maikela as both girls continued walking. My face is pretty enough to copy, isn't it? Sauren's gaze implied. Though Maikela's face alone was enough bury it in a dune and leave it there for Oberon to find, her thoughts added unhelpfully.

Rezshei had always privately boasted of Sauren's alluring presence and visage to his close allies and cohorts, Oberon not among them, somewhat in hopes of marrying her off. But Rezshei was jealous of his daughter; he wouldn't let his precious daughter out of his grasp so easily, not after Mazara slipped through his fingers too swiftly. He knew the value of a political marriage, but he secretly was glad of Sauren's disposition on lov.e and marriage. And all the drama that came with it.

((hello? Yes. Little ol' insomniac me has been up since 1 AM this morning so I apologise if this does not make sense I'll edit it when my brain decides that it wants to function again))

((Edit: fixed grammar errors and word mix ups))

The self-assured smirk that Sauren wore promoted a rather ambivalent reaction from Maikela. While she certainly returned the smirk, flirtatious undertones and all, she also pouted- uncannily still wearing Sauren's face.

Tipping her parasol forward slightly, Maikela crested her face in shadow, angleing the lace umbrella to cover up the majority of her face for all except Sauren. Then her features began to slowly shift, melting into an exact copy of Riya's face. Although her eye colour remained characteristic of Maikela which generated quite the uncanny valley affect.

Smirking, Maikela's lips moved in time with Riya as the pieces administrator spoke, almost in a mocking fashion. Making a face, Maikela puffed out her cheeks, elongating her nose into a pig's snout as she continued to playfully imitate their instructor.

Myr | Capricorn

Myr regarded the garden with mild interest. Despite being an Earth sign, she had never been very interested in plants. Still, she could appreciate the garden, if not for its wide variety of plants, but rather for the peace and quiet it offered.

Though quiet wasn’t exactly a good descriptor for her current situation. Doug was still beside her, despite her body language screaming “Go away!” to anyone with eyes. Unless she was very wrong, the boy was an Aries. Didn’t he know Capricorn and Aries didn’t get along most of the time?

Why was that? she wondered, temporarily distracted. Ram and Goat, very similar animals, and neither overly aggressive unless provoked. They were herbivores, feeding on the same diet. Maybe that was the problem. A ram and a goat in the same area would almost certainly be competing over feeding grounds, depriving each other of food.

Either way, the boy was certainly depriving her of the opportunity to catch interesting tidbits from the others with his incessant chattering. So when they passed underneath a wide-leafed tree casting a large shadow, she took the opportunity to slip away from him.

She noticed a girl who she guessed was a Cancer yelling at a ...plant. A Venus flytrap, of all things. Oookaayyy...

She heard faint scuffling sounds coming from the backpack of her companion, an Aquarius. As she glanced at the object, she just noticed a long tail snaking out of it before being retracted, almost as if it were afraid to be noticed. A pet? Myr thought, wondering what the girl had in there.

She was glad Tharn never drew attention like that. Myr wouldn’t have been able to keep him if he did, but fortunately Tharn always seemed quite happy snuggled around her arm, safely out of sight.

She sometimes wondered why Tharn did what she wanted him to. He needed warmth to survive, so it made sense he would curl around her arm, using her body heat as sustenance, but she had often used him when she was working, making use of his ability to shape himself into whatever he (or she) wanted. How he knew what she wanted, she had no idea. Some form of telepathy, maybe? Myr didn’t know, but she made good use of it nonetheless.

At the back of the group, Sauren and Maikela were walking together. Myr glanced at them, stopped, and did a double take.

She saw two Saurens, virtually identical, although one dressed in Maikela’s clothes and exhibiting her body language. Myr couldn’t help staring. Whether this was some ulterior motive or just pure boredom at play, it was certainly worth watching.

Maybe she’d been staring a bit too openly, because Maikela angled her parasol to hide her face. Myr just had time to see her features begin to shift before they were hidden from view.

Acting on a whim, Myr used her ability for the first time since encountering this group. She increased the density of the tip of the parasol, causing it to drop slowly but irrevocably.

Maikela’s illusions were amusing to watch, but if the pink-haired girl got the thought to copy her face, she had another thing coming.

Tirali watched curiously as Kyra scolded a flytrap that had tried to eat Tanto. The plant looked annoyed at first, then sulkily backed away. Doug was trying to talk to a grumpy-looking Capricorn, but she slipped away towards two other students near the front. He looked surprised at Kyra talking to the flytrap, hopefully not noticing the tail that fluttered out of the backpack before getting pulled back. Tirali wondered wether any of these plants were poisonous. She didn't know very many, only poison ivy and poison oak. "Which plants are poisonous?" she whispered to Kyra. The two girls at the front of the group were acting strangely, one with parasol raised to cover her face while the other one was kind of glaring.

Maikela had owned her pink lace parasol for many years. It was a gift her father gave her when he introduced her to the family business at the age of 13. He had it custom designed to hide the lethal spiraling, occasionally poison-tipped blade concealed within. A lady's weapon. Pristine and innocent to all but those who knew of its hidden mechanism. And since she had been gifted it, Maikela refused to go anywhere without it. She always found a way to bring her parasol along, either by disgusing it to suit her current needs or collapsed and in a back pack. She had mastered the complicated fighting techniques that spurn from carrying an umbrella-based weapon. She knew it from inside out. How it felt in her hand, the weight, where its center of balance lay. So she most definitely noticed the uncomfortable sensation of the metal frame pressing heavier into her palm, and the way it began to droop downward.
Maikela, made a quick adjustment to once again raise her parasol and conceal her face for all except those directly next to her. She did not seem to find the sudden wait too worrying albeit a bit questionable nor did she connect it to any person or their powers. It was too subtle for her to take much notice.

She pressed on in her charade, playfully turning the pig snout into a duck bill while still mimicking Riya's face and mouth movements. Although now she was definitely more aware and would quickly adjust if her parasol began to change weights again

The tip of the parasol dropped a centimeter before being smoothly raised to its previous level again. To anyone it would be unnoticeable, but Myr had been watching the thing like a hawk and did see it. She grinned, feeling mischief bubbling up inside.

Tuning out the preprogrammed talk of their guide, she waited until they were under another shadow-casting tree before repeating the trick, being careful not to go over the top and increasing the density of the parasol's tip by the exact same tiny fraction as the first time.

Guessing the exact moment Maikela would be distracted by the changing weight of the parasol, Myr used that moment to edge into Maikela’s field of view, doing it so smoothly it could be seen as accidental, or at least not related to the parasol's antics.

Kalden glanced around once more at his surroundings. Maikela and Sauren seemed to be shuffling around together once again, but the Pisces' pink umbrella was held up and open, blocking whatever the two were doing from Kalden's view. He decided maybe this was a blessing to not be involved in any shenanigans, looking away from the duo. A few of the others had somewhat scattered again, gazing around at the variety of plants.

The Virgo glanced at Riya, who wan't focusing on him, before splitting from the group towards the fountain as they passed near it, his curiosity winning him over. The fountain still enticed him, and he was curious about the artist that had created it. Kalden had initially guessed a Virgo, but knew many skilled craftsmen also hailed from other Houses. The style itself was not helpful in discerning its properties or association with any particular nation. He quickly walked around what he could of the fountain, searching for any obvious signature or mark of craftsmanship, but it was either left blank or too well hidden in its size versus his grounded position. He was about to give up and make his way back over to Riya and the others as they began heading towards the other end of the garden, when he noticed a faded area at the furthest back portion of the fountain. This was situated behind the goddess and in the most shaded area of the fountain, where trees cast shadows over the ground and water, save the dapples of sunlight bleeding through the gaps in the leaves.

Kalden knelt beside it, trying to discern the almost blank slab of stone. There clearly had once been something carved there, but it was almost as if it had been smoothened out over a long period of time, or weathered down. However, this theory didn't make much sense, as the rest of the fountain's features didn't show a portion of the same treatment.

"That's weird," Kalden hummed to himself, wondering what had been transcribed or present there, but decided the mystery would wait until an evening when he could come back and properly examine it.

((bloop. Just got back from work, so I'll add more later. Just covering basics to help move along the Furies' fun >:D))

Unfazed, Maikela shifted her parasol so that only Sauren could view her face entirely, and morphed it into Riya's face, adding a pig's nose and blown cheeks for affect. Maikela's mouth moved silently, mimicking the Pisces Admin's tuneless voice. A tip of the parasol made Maikela adjust her hold on it; Sauren noticed Myr in her periphereal. Maikela readjusted her grip on the parasol again, this time, the pink lace dropping lower than before.

Definitely Myr's handiwork, Sauren concluded, watching the Cancer girl out of the corner of her eyes, still facing Maikela. And now the heriess's snout was a duck bill. What amusing antics, Sauren thought.

As they neared the shade of an upcoming tree, the tip of Maikela's parasol dropped lower, allowing Myr to move closer and in view of Maikela's face while the cotton candied princess's attention was diverted elsewhere.

Clever, Sauren silently applauded. But don't waste your time on mere interests, Myr.

Sauren turned and fully faced Myr as she slipped into view of Maikela's face.

"You could've just asked," Sauren pointed out. But then again, you suspected a "No" would be your answer, didn't you? Or at least something dismissive and suspicious? Sauren mused inwardly. She certainly had correctly guessed many "no's" from her father many times when she had been younger and barely able to wield a full-weighted scorpion blade. Besides, Sauren monologued to herselfthat would've... jinxed things for you

As the parasol continued to droop regardless of Maikela's adjustments, she knew that something was up. Her face revverted back to normal as she psices scanned her area, noticing Myr about the same time as Sauren. Her gaze hardened ever so slightly before she moved her parasol, resting it againt her shoulder.

"You could've just asked," Sauren remarked dully as she addressed the little theif.

Maikela giggled softly, she found it completely adorable that the raven-haired theif wanted in on their current Underworld clique.

Both she and Sauren represented two seperate influential groups respectively. And while Oberon had no use to employ someone such as Myr (he had Maikela to do most of his dirty work), he found it below his station to hire external help for affairs dealing with the innerworkings on his company. And he highly encouraged that Maikela distance herself from the lowerclassmen of the Underworld. Regardless, Myr seemed extremely interested in Maikela and Sauren, so the young heiress decided to entertain Myr's whims. At least for the time being.

Luca wandered around the group, listening for conversations he could possibly slip into, but didn't find my interest in many. The two girls still talking about plant types, and the three furies in their own little world. He sighed, still admiring some plants as he walked by them and eventually found himself at the odd the statue, finding a familar face kneeled beside it.

"That's weird," he mumbled to himself, which brought Luca in with a tilted head.

"What's weird?" He chirped, volume was slightly tone down so he wouldn't bring too much attention to them.

Lost in thought, Kalden hadn't quite noticed another presence beside him until a voice spoke up. Kalden's rust-colored eyes glanced up, realizing the other had heard his personal mutterings.

"Ah, just this," Kalden responded lowly to Luca, lightly brushing a hand over faint grooves etched into the material. "If you look closely, it once was carved, just like the sign symbols throughout on the rest of the structure, but I can't make out what of. It seems to have faded for some reason."

Kalden paused, realizing his speculations and interest might not be likewise shared with the Sagittarius.

"Er, sorry, it's probably nothing of importance. I was just curious of the artisan that made this, and thought this odd when I noticed it."

Luca hummed as he neared the spot Kalden pointed it, trying to make out what it said but had just as hard of a time to read. He looked at the statue once again to see if it had any other recognizable attributes, shrunching up his face as he thought, then gave an unknowing shrug to the taller male.

"I never actually wondered about that before... I just know that it's been for as long as this garden has been, maybe Riya would know?" He chirped, a few voice cracks squeaking through his sentence as he continued to look at the statue and the surrounding carvings of signs.

They noticed her pretty quickly of course, but not before she got a glimpse at Maikela with a duck bill for a mouth, synchronizing her movements with those of their guide.

“You could’ve just asked,” Sauren pointed out flatly, while Maikela rested her still abnormally heavy parasol on her shoulder, her face hardening ever so slightly as she did. The barely-there reaction was quite satisfactory, since Maikela was very hard to get a rise out of.

“And where would be the fun in that?” Myr responded airily.

She restored the density in Maikela’s parasol to the way it had been. “Don’t worry, it’s back to normal again,” she sweetly addressed her, ignoring the fact that the cotton-candy girl was giggling again, although the sound was really starting to annoy her. “The duck bill was pretty good, but don’t you think a fish mouth would be even more appropriate?”

It wasn’t that Myr was so interested in Sauren and Maikela specifically. More that, out of their group, they were by far the most interesting as of right now.

After all, she thought, taking a quick look around, Luca and Kalden were peering at something on the ground, the Cancer and Aquarius from before were standing around yet another plant (quite possibly talking to it), and the others were fanned out studying their surroundings. All the while the Pisces guide was still droning on, oblivious to the fact no one was listening anymore.

((Who is ready for a little science lesson? Haha))

The parasol resumed its regular weight which confirmed Maikela's suspicions. Myr could some how manipulate the density of objects which she found rather curious. She knew it was a pre-existing power but she was not aware of its limitations. She knew for a fact that density was very different from mass. And as a rule of thumb, density had no bearing on the weight of an object. Rather, density quantifies how much mass is in any given object or surface. So, perhaps the term "density manipulation" was a bit of a misnomer. It would be impossible to increase the weight of an object by manipulating its density alone. Even by making its particles more dense, it would just decrease the size of the object. Matter cannot be created nor destroyed. You could, however, be able to phase through walls by spreading the density of an object out, or by proxy, increase the size of an object. Maikela was never one to delve too much into the science behind things, it was never her expertise, however it did enable her to make educated guesses upon the abilities of others. She knew that there was something much more going on in regards to density manipulation.

The same could be said of Sauren's floor tilting. Her abilities resembled more of control over gravity than actually physically tilting the floor- which would he ridiculous. Many powers were simplified to the point where its name became quite misleading.
"Don’t worry, it’s back to normal again,” Myr's voice pulled Mikaela out of her thoughts.

Despite the temptation to bite back with a scarcastic remark, Maikela merely smiled politely. "Thank you." She purred with no trace of disdain in her voice.
"The duck bill was pretty good, but don’t you think a fish mouth would be even more appropriate?” Myr jabbed.
Maikela tilted her head, humming thoughtfully in response. It was most likely a masked insult, that much Maikela could guess. Smiling mischievously, the pink haired heiress nodded in agreement. "You are quite right."

With a casual wave of her hand, Maikela casted an illusion over Myr, giving her what appeared to be the head of a fish while maintaining her regular human body.

((Yeah, I know the science lol. But I think we’re going to have to be a bit flexible, considering we’re dealing with superpowers here. For now, I’m just going to say Myr can increase or decrease the amount of particles in a given volume (yes, she is creating or destroying matter here), so I guess more mass manipulation than density.))

Myr had expected her comment to provoke Maikela. The pink-haired heiress’ smile and wave told her enough, so she had Tharn slide down her arm to sit on her hand, allowing her to see her reflection on his water-like surface.

Sure enough, she now had a fish’s head, although she didn’t feel any different. She resisted the temptation to put her hands on her face and feel, instead smiling mildly. She had originally meant their guide with the ‘fish mouth’ comment, but seeing as they were both Pisces, she could see how Maikela could have misinterpreted it. Either accidentally or deliberately.

Anyways, now Maikela was asking for it.

“Very impressive,” she hummed pleasantly. “You really are very skilled. But you misunderstand me. I’m a Capricorn, so a goat’s head would be far more fitting. You should be the one wearing the fish, seeing as you’re a Pisces.”

Tharn slid back up her arm. When he was out of sight again, she continued, “Let me help you out with that.”

She increased the density of the air around Maikela, until it had the same density as water and it seemed like the cotton candy-haired heiress was swimming or wading in thin air.

((It was all just speculation on Maikela's part. Besides. Her secondary power, shapeshifting, breaks laws as well because she can add and subtract mass to assume different forms.))

“Very impressive,” Myr hummed, the flaps on her fishy mouth moving in rhythm with her voice which generated this comical effect of a talking fish. “You really are very skilled. But you misunderstand me. I’m a Capricorn, so a goat’s head would be far more fitting. You should be the one wearing the fish, seeing as you’re a Pisces.”

Maikela shrugged haphazardly. "I wasn't going for consistency." She eyes a small creature that appeared to be malleable in form, oozing along the girl's arm. It was quite disturbing to watch but Maikela knew better than to question it.

"Let me help you out with that.” Myr added with a smirk.
The hair around Maikela suddenly felt heavy. Gasping, she watched her hair splay out around her, drifting out like it was caught on the currents of the ocean. Slowly, the pisces began to drift upwards in the air.
"Oh my...." Maikela grinned, gasping with pure delight. "Weee!"
Having spent her entire life in water, Maikela did not take long to adjust before she was gliding through the air, spiraling around, her hair gracefully trailing after her. This joy caused her to break focus and the illusion she placed on Myr fractured entirely.

"Hmmm," Kalden said after Luca had given him some information hinting as to the date of the place. Kalden decided to get back to his feet when Luca finished his speaking, a few voice slips sneaking in. Kalden brushed any clinging dirt from his knees before standing to his full height.

"You're right, perhaps I'll ask her later to see if she knows anything."

Kalden turned his line of sight just in time to see a giant face and head of a fish atop the shoulders and body of a person nearby.

The Virgo blinked a few times as if to clear his vision, but the illusion of a fish head persisted for a while longer, seemingly atop Myr's clothing and body. Within the next few moments, Maikela seemed to be swimming in midair.

"At this point, I think I would be more shocked if they weren't doing something like this," Kalden cocked his head to the side as he began making his way back to the main path, nearby to the Aries boy and Water and Air sign girls. Kalden glanced at Riya, who looked at unfazed as usual despite the antics, instead continuing pace towards what Kalden assumed was the garden exit.

((Wow yall were busy ¯\(°_o)/¯))

Maikela dropped her Pisces facade as Myr edged closer.

"And where would be the fun in that?" Myr retorted.

What happened next Sauren could only call a cat spat, in which rivalry and powers ensued insults and superiority. Maikela took Myr's suggestion, turning the jab into an insult as Myr's face morphed into the likeness of a fish. Sauren saw Myr's hands twitch, resisting the urge to feel out her new look. Sauren held down a snort and a smirk.

Rough waters, Myr, Sauren warned in her head. You're dealing with Pisces crime algae

Maikela, however, took to the dense air like an otter to water, pun intended.

Sauren anchored Maikela's gravity to to swaying tree's leaves above them for a bit of fun, letting the unwitting movements of the bystanders direct the motion of Maikela's movements.

Maikela tilted her head when she could no longer control her direction. She shot a subtle look down towards Sauren, pouting at the Scorpio who had ruined her fun...

Or did she?

Maikela, making use of what she got, began to gracefully spiral around, controlling the rotational movements of her body to make it seem as though she were merely gliding on the wind, like a bird hitting an updraft or a fish gracefully darting around a reef. She stretched out her legs, maintaining a perfect buoyancy over the tree tops, seemingly standing delicately on the very tips of the tree branches.

Kyra glanced over and grinned, gesturing for Tirali to join her, pointing to some blue flowers with a sort of folded butterfly wing shape to the flowers.

"These ladies here are called Monkshood - also known as wolf's bane. If ingested, symptoms include burning, tingling, numbness, gastrointestinal problems and subsequent d.eath. They may be pretty, but make sure you keep it on hand for hunting. Just don't touch it with your bare hands without washing them right away before touching your food or face. Every part of the plant is dangerous." Kyra told her friend earning a little bow from the plant.

"Well, not all of us can be used for healing like Aloe can. But if you ever need me for a poison project, let me know and I will happily be of service to either of you even if your friend there can't understand me." The Monkshood commented, pleased to be recognized  by a new student.

"Thank you, that's very kind of you." Kyra told the plant, glancing at Kyra. "The Monkshood just said that we could let her know if we need her for any poison related assignments. I find it helps to make friends with the poisonous plants and their antidotes, just in case." She commented, pointing to pink trumpet like flowers hanging next to the monkshood.

"These gentlemen are known as Angel's Trumpets. Their symptoms are fast heartbeat, difficulty breathing, nervousness, hallucinations, loss of memory, coma, paralysis and d.eath. They come in yellow, pink, white and orange. They're from the same family as non poisonous varieties of tomatoes and potatoes, as well as the poisonous Nightshade." Kyra explained, going almost into a lecture mode as she explained that all parts of the plants were again poisonous but you could handle it and they loved tropical regions.

"Please Seniorita, call me Gabriel, even we plants sometimes have names. A young Virgo girl in her 3rd year gave me that name after a character in a story she was reading. I actually rather enjoy that name." The plant insisted, earning a smile from the girl.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Gabriel. Thank you for telling me what your name was." Kyra replied, glancing at Tirali to make sure that she was paying attention.

"He said his name was Gabriel by the way - sometimes plant and treespeakers like me give our plants names - or at least our favorites. I have a Bird of Paradise flower back home in my room that I like to call Glory after a dragon from Wings of Fire." She admitted, shrugging her shoulders sheepishly

"Yeah, I think I'd be more worried if they weren't doing something like that" he cooed, peeling his attention from the girls and glanced over everyone elses actions before paying the rest of it to Kalden. Hoping some sort of topic would come up between them.

Kalden let a natural silence wash over them for a few moments.

"What areas of the campus do you like the most since you've arrived?" Kalden struck up the question as he gazed at the Fire sign. "I know we're going to be seeing a lot of it today, but it's generally more enjoyable to actually experience them under less official means." He said, referring to the tour.

Tirali listened closely as Kyra explained what the different plants were and how to avoid getting poisoned. She nodded along as Kyra told her that she always made friends with the poisonous plants and their antidotes, "just in case." Suddenly, Tirali heard a commotion behind her, turning around to notice one of the teens that had been in the front of the group seem to change halfway into a fish, then another of the group started floating around and swimming through the air, spinning slowly as she went. Tirali stared for a second, then looked around to see what the others were doing. Luca and another teen were kneeling by the fountain but got up and started walking over when the Pisces girl started floating. Riya was still droning on, oblivious to the chaos ensuing, or maybe just ignoring it. Tirali turned back to Kyra. "So those are wolf's bane," pointing at the blue flowers, "and angel's trumpets," indicating the bell-like pink flowers, "and they're both dangerous if you touch them? The pink one sounds pretty friendly. I wish I could hear them," she sighed wistfully.

Kyra glanced over at the fuss and rolled her eyes. Someone was probably messing around with the wrong plants or whatever. She turned back to the plants and pointed out a few more plants for Tirali.

"I'll see if I can whip up a plant translator for you. I did it for Mom since she's a Virgo. So she has the technopathic abilities. My Dad's the Cancer so he has the Plantspeak. That way you can speak to the plants too - or at least understand them. They can understand you even if you can't understand them." Kyra commented, pointing to some spiky looking leaves shaped like triangles.

"That there is called Aloe. A lot of people use the goo inside it for medicinal properties, such as soothing sunburn - trust me when I say that stuff is amazing. We sell it to herbal shops back in Crab Port. It's a succulent that a lot of people like to grow for fun - I have some in my room back home. They aren't as dangerous as most poisonous plants and most people don't even realize how annoying they can be when ingested. The symptoms include tremors, depression, and stomach disorders but that's about it. Otherwise they're more useful than anything." Kyra explained, glancing from the plant to her friend.

"Hola, chicas! Glad to know someone appreciates our abilities! It's always nice to meet a Cancer student with plantspeak and friends who are genuinely interested in learning about us. Call me Sophia, an older student gave me that name. A fourth year I think at this point." The Aloe greeted, giving the two girls a little bow of her leaves. Kyra smiled shaking her stalk in response.

"Always glad to meet an aloe plant Sophia. And I always make a point to edcuate others about different plants when I can." The Cancer girl replied, glad she had her plantspeak at all. Then she pointed to another plant, some white flowers hanging from a single stem.

"This here is Lily of the Valley - pro tip: either wear gloves or wash your hands like a surgeon after handling this plant. Their toxic abilities are just as potent as their medicinal ones. Symptoms include irregular heartbeat and pulse, mental confusion and upset stomach." She warned, earning a brush off from one of the plant's leaves that hit her glove, thank goodness.

"Oi! Can't a guy get a decent nap around here? Sheesh! You plantspeakers are so annoying sometimes!" The plant complained, earning a deadpan look from Kyra.

"Ok, sheesh! Grumpy much?" Kyra retorted, glancing at Tirali and giggling in response to the plant's attitude.

"Apparently, we just interrupted his nap." She translated for Tirali's benefit.

"Sure, that would be awesome!" Tirali replied. "These plants all seem pretty friendly, even if they are harmful."

Kyra then introduced a spiky aloe plant named Sophia and a grumpy Lily of the Valley which seemed to have just woken up.

"Hi there Sophia, nice to meet you," Tirali smiled at the aloe, carefully keeping some distance from the cluster of white flowers. "So stay away from Wolf's bane, angel's trumpets and Lily of the Valley, but aloe is good to have as long as you don't ingest it?" she clarified, tilting her head curiously. "What's this one?" she asked, reaching for a cluster of purple bell-shaped flowers with brown and white specks in the middle.

(Thanks!)

"That's called Foxglove, it's one of my favorite plants to grow back home. Just a handful of these flowers are enough to get you sick - maybe even fatal. The symptoms include irregular pulse and heartbeat, upset stomach and mental confusion." Kyra explained, touching the purple speckled plant gently with her gloved hand.

"Digitalis like these are often used to help with cardiac problems in medicine when used the right way." She added, touching on the plant's medicinal properties.

"Hello, and yes, it's true. While I may look pleasing to the eye, watch out. Do NOT prepare me without a plantspeaker or someone who knows their medicinal plants handy. Otherwise you might get the wrong dose. Also, call me Fox for short. Everyone does." The Foxglove plant confirmed, holding out her leaf to Tirali for her to shake. "Feel free to take some of my seeds for your room if you like." The plant added, shaking some seed bulbs loose from her stem into Kyra's hand that were already starting to dry out for the year.

"She says her name is Fox, not to prepare her as medicine without a professional and we can take some of her seeds for our rooms. She just gave me some. Do you want any? I can show you how to harvest the seeds. The only annoying thing is that they're not annuals and have to be replanted every year. No offense by the way." Kyra translated, nodding to the plant in the last bit.

"None taken. You'd be surprised how often I get that complaint from the plantspeakers. Some have suggested some genetic modifications, but it just doesn't feel right to me to be an annual and they're always respectful of that." Fox replied, the plant nodding a little at Kyra's words.

Doug was ideally looking

Doug was ideally looking around for a bit before the next thing caught his attention; Not the on going was between Sauren and Maikela no (He somehow missed it again) but the way the fish head Maikla start floating, since that was more obvious. Doug of course looked at them with smile and star in his eyes and comment "You guys are so fun!" particulary loud enough for Myr to hear since he already 'start' a conversation with her. All the spectacle took all the focus away from his other two friends who are more interest in discussing plants. From the side, Kalden and Luca moved close to him

"At this point I would be more shock if they weren't doing anything like this" Kalden said, more to himself but Doug still hear. and Luca too as he commented on it. The two seemed to know something going on that Doug is completely clueless about generally ; The tension and rivalry and read the room.

"Hmm? do what?" he cocked his head. accidentally interrupted Kalden who was asking the other boy about the campus.

"Honestly.. I spend most of my time on the school over inside of it" he chuckled, giving the other small male a curious gaze as he walked up with an "hmm? Do what?". Earning a quiet chuckle that depleted into an open smile.

"Just the fury sisters over there doing their odd power stuff" he mused, nodding to the girl with a fish head and the floating female just above them. This sight only caused Luca to shake his head ever so slightly.

I haven't taken care of plants before, do you have any tips? And do foxgloves like sunlight, do they need a lot of water, is there anything special I need to know about them?"

Myr | Capricorn

((@Wolf and Star: My point exactly XD))

Maikela was gliding around like an otter in the dense air in seconds. Myr had expected no less. She had also hoped however, that the shock of swimming in mid-air would be enough to break Maikela's focus, causing her to drop the fish-face illusion.

While the heiress was busy frolicking around, Myr glanced sideways at Tharn where he appeared just below her sleeve, confirming that yup, she had her normal face again. The little creature slipped out of sight again and Myr turned her attention back to the spectacle in front of her.

As she looked at Maikela's beaming face, Myr felt laughter bubbling up inside her at the genuine glee the girl seemed to be experiencing. It must be exhausting after all, she reasoned, keeping up that facade every minute of the day. She kept it down to a smile outwardly though, feeling the tension that had been hanging in the atmosphere b.leeding away.

Sauren moved both Maikela and the dense air to the treetops, probably attaching her gravity somewhere up there. Looking at her floating around above them, Myr considered joining her. As an Earth sign, she had never been much of a swimmer, but she had sometimes decreased her own density until she weighed as much as a feather, floating up into the air and letting the breeze take her wherever it wanted just for the fun of it.

A major downside of that, and the reason she didn’t do it right now, was the lack of control she had over her direction. She went wherever the wind blew her, which had one time resulted in her having to walk five kilometres back to her starting point. She didn’t feel like risking something like that here.

It occurred to her now, that if she managed to gain full control over her Weather Manipulation, that wouldn’t be a problem anymore. Weather included wind, and she suddenly saw the potential for a very comfortable way of travelling.

She decided to keep her secondary power a secret for now, since she had no control over it whatsoever, and stick with just Density Manipulation. A remarkably versatile ability, after all.

Looking up at Maikela, now pretending to stand delicately on the leaves at the top of the tree, Myr wondered if she would be as serene if she knew how Density Manipulation worked. Unlike most powers, the only part requiring effort and concentration was the actual changing of the density. Once a density was set, it remained that way until actively reverted back to normal, unimpacted by distance or duration.

To be fair, this only applied to inanimate things. Living beings could eventually restore their density themselves, which could take hours to days, depending on how big the change in density was.

But unless Myr, or another Capricorn possessing Density Manipulation, decided to return the density of the air back to normal, Maikela wasn’t coming down anytime soon.

Kyra grinned, glad that Tirali was asking so many questions and she was happy to explain how to take care of the plant.

"Foxglove thrive in everything from full sun to full shade, depending on the summer heat. So put them in something that can be moved depending on the heat. Ideally, full sunlight is preferred for the Foxgloves I know. Gola, one of my Foxgloves back home, loves full sunlight all season. They need well drained soil, it can't be too moist. That rots their roots. The soil needs to be moist but not overly so. They're biennial, which means they grow every other year. They need to be planted 18 inches apart to make sure they don't overlap each other." Kyra explained, rattling off what her Dad had drilled into her - her foxgloves were prize winners at the county fair after all! Especally her rusty Foxglove.

"It's true, I personally prefer full sunlight when possible. I'm a Sunbather myself. I like full sunshine. Once you make your plant pheromone translator for your friend there, she can come ask me or one of my siblings if you need help with your plants." Fox offered, confirming what Kyra was saying.

"And during the winter, you need to make sure you prep them properly or they might not survive." Kyra added, glancing at the flower for confirmation and he nodded.

"Yup, you'd be surprised how many times that happens with students who tend the garden. We do our best to help, but mother nature often has other plans." Fox confirmed, nodding his main bulb at the two girls.

"Also, Fox says that once you have your plant translator, you can come ask him or his siblings for help if you need it to take care of your plants." Kyra relayed, grinning at Tirali

Luca's words puzzled Kalden for a second, but then he remembered the other was a dragusus racer, as well as hailed from a flying city. It made sense he was probably prone to higher areas, and the school definitely had plenty with the tall buildings, many outcrops, and floating islands.

"Oh, I see-" Kalden didn't quite get a chance to respond before the Aries interrupted. Kalden couldn't hide a small, rare smile. Even if Doug had cut in, it seemed out of innocence and curiosity.

Riya finished whatever she had been saying, seeming to be waiting for everyone to start finishing up their time in the garden. "We'll stay a few more minutes before we head into the Water and Earth areas."

Kalden didn't know if the Pisces was purposefully ignoring what was occurring with the 'Fury sisters', as Luca had referred to them as, or if she was simply unfazed by their actions.
